"Your Highness," Ryan said quickly as Dominick approached, "I brought Miss Moore to the hospital. She suddenly started feeling unwell, so I thought it would be better to bring her here directly instead of taking her back to the residence."
Dominick's expression tightened with worry.
"Where is she?" he asked urgently.
"She's in one of the ward rooms on the second floor," Ryan replied.
Dominick didn't waste another moment.
"You stay here," he said as he began moving toward the elevators. "I'll go to her."
The elevator ride felt unbearably slow. Dominick's mind kept replaying the image of Jeniva's bruised face.
The doors finally opened on the second floor.
He stepped out immediately and scanned the hallway before spotting a hospital compounder passing by with a tray of medical supplies.
"Excuse me," Dominick called, stopping him.
The man turned quickly, straightening when he recognized him.
