„You can already use spells?" asked Charlie with Jessica.
„Yes, you should know, Charlie ; you met me and Professor Snape on Diagon Alley. He and a few professors already know me and taught me for at least a year , " said Rei with a smile.
„Yeah, and because of that, Snape made it even more challenging to gain good grades from him," said Charlie with a frown.
„Why?" asked Jessica.
„Oh, it's because this brat can make potions from at least 3rd grade," said Charlie, raising his hands.
„Well, actually, it is most of the 4th grade now," said Rei, which just earned him a death glare from Charlie.
„Really? And you had to say that? Look at your classmates. Those girls are scared of you now," said Charlie with a smirk on his face.
„We are not scared ; it is just a lot to process," said a petite blonde girl who, if Rei remembered well , was named Rosalie.
„ Okay, everyone, let's just stop this discussion, and we can take it to our dorms , " said Jessica with a small smile.
„Yeah, Priscilla probably can't wait in the tower," said Charlie under his breath, which earned him a look from Jess because she heard him.
„What is wrong with you today? You are not like this normally," said Jess.
„Well, if you had a younger sister and you met her crush , what would you do?" asked Charlie in a small voice, which was only heard by Jess and Rei, who had better senses than the others thanks to his training.
„Wait, Rei is little Priscilla's crush?" asked Jess, looking at Rei again. „Well , if I look at him now, it is normal, you know, Charlie? Just look at him. He is handsome, has a nice physique, and when you talk with him, you just know that he is smart and knowledgeable ."
„Why are you defending him? You should help me with this one because he should fight for her attention, not the other way around , " said Charlie with a scowl on his face.
„I heard that," said Rei in a lazy voice.
„Yeah, yeah, and you should know that this isn't just my opinion but Bill's too, so don't play with her if you are not serious," said Charlie.
„Sure. I am aware of that," said Rei and smiled at him.
After that conversation, they walked in silence through the Grand Staircase of Hogwarts. Charlie and Jessica, while walking, were guiding them and talking about some of the better-known portraits of wizards known throughout the ages that were hung around the moving staircases. When they arrived at the Tower of Gryffindor, the girls from his year were already tired.
„Right, young girls and boy. This witch here is known as the Fat Lady. She is the guardian of the door to our common room and dorms where we sleep. To get inside our room , we need a password. For the time being, the password is 'Dragon blood,'" said Charlie to the first years. When they heard it, they had stars in their eyes.
„Password?" asked the Fat Lady, looking at Jessica, who stood before her.
„Dragon blood," said Jess, and when the Fat Lady heard her, she nodded and opened the door that was behind her portrait . When they got in and came into the common room , there was one red comet that just passed them all and lunged at Rei. When they all looked at that streak , they saw a girl with red hair.
„Priscilla, you really are bold to behave like that," said Charlie with a wry smile and began to remember her shy personality that she had before when it involved Rei. When his sister heard his words, she quickly let go of the younger boy, her face turning into a strawberry.
„Heeeh, so little Priscilla really likes Rei," said Jessica with a sly smile.
„It seems so. Rei, could you promise me that you will take good care of her?" asked Charlie with a smile while he winked at Jessica for her to follow the teasing, but he underestimated Rei's shamelessness .
„Sure, if she would like to, then I will take care of her for the rest of her life , " said Rei with a straight face. When they heard that, both prefects started to cough and looked at Rei with disbelief.
„Whua, whua, what did you say, Rei?" asked Priscilla, her hands on her face.
„We will talk about this without them later, Charlie; which way is toward the dorm?"
„Left staircase, first floor," said Charlie, still with disbelief on his face. Bill walked in the moment Rei entered his dorm. He looked around and saw that Priscilla was red in the face, which he thought was probably because of Rei, but the faces of Jess and Charlie just didn't add up with anything he could think of .
„What happened that you have faces like that, and what did Rei say that our little Cilla is looking like a strawberry for the taking ?" asked Bill, which started an avalanche of reactions . First, Priscilla ran up toward her dorm ; second, Jess started to laugh like crazy, and third, Charlie landed on the floor.
'What the hell? What happened for them to have such reactions?' thought Bill while looking at everyone.
„Can someone tell me what has happened here?" asked Bill, at which Riley from the sixth year and beater on their team walked toward him and landed his arm on his shoulder.
„Congratulations on getting a brother-in-law," said Riley with a hardly concealed smile.
Bill, hearing this, looked at him with a startled expression. Then he looked in the direction of Charlie, who was staring with a hollow face into the wall.
" Well, it seems so," he said, and looked towards the boys ' dorms . " From what I heard after the briefing from Professor McGonagall, he is strong and kind, so there should be no problem with the boy. Let's just wait for some time and see for ourselves ."
Meanwhile, Rei, in his dorm, was sitting on his bed and waiting for a mischievous cat that had snuck into the castle to spend time with him behind Artoria's and Rin's backs .
" Yoruichi, you shouldn't do this; you know that, right? I want to focus on learning, not on distractions , " said Rei towards the shadow in the corner of his room, which was only for him because he was the only boy in his year in Gryffindor.
" Well then, I have to make it so that I wouldn't need to come back for a recharge of my Reinium," said Yoruichi with a smile on her face while walking towards him in only her nightgown . "Let's go to sleep. I know that you want to be alone, but I really just want to spend time with you now because I will not see you until Christmas , " said Yoruichi with a sad smile.
"Okay, but don't do anything funny."
" But I can hug you, right?"
"Eh, yes, you can."
