Chapter 94 - Chapter 1: Special People

In a car repair shop in Brooklyn, Jason carried the injured Mike directly out of the car and placed him on a platform.

Peter also followed Blade's car all the way to the repair shop, while Damon was in a bad mood and had gone home to be with Mindy.

In fact, Jason is in a very bad mood now. Everything he did tonight makes him feel that all his actions are meaningless.

He was like a clown trying to please the king, trying his best to show off his abilities. In the end, the king told him that he was in a bad mood today and didn't want to watch the clown's performance.

He really almost died tonight.

This feeling made him feel embarrassed and angry, and he felt terrible. If he could, he actually wanted to take off this damn hero jacket and go home to play games and go to sleep.

However, seeing that Mike was not yet dead, Jason thought it would be better to save this guy first, as this guy was much more miserable than himself.

As a pawn abandoned by the upper echelons, he was kept in the dark about everything. He worked hard to complete his mission, but now he was on the verge of life and death.

None of his bodies were intact, all of them were just pieces of meat on the roadside. When they were buried, there was not even a trace of their remains to be seen.

Peter also informed Frank where everyone was and asked him to come over as well.

What happened today made everyone feel depressed, even Peter was no exception.

"Whist, Whist." Blade shouted into the depths of the garage. An old man who had difficulty walking came out.

"What have you brought again?" The old man had white hair and was not able to move easily, but the lines on his face were strong, giving people a feeling of strength.

"Are these your new friends?" Whist said after looking at Peter and Jason.

"Yes, Whist, this is Night Walker and Spider-Man, I showed you their videos before." Blade introduced. "This is Whist, my partner, an old guy who specializes in hunting vampires."

"Although my legs and feet are not very good, I can still beat you, Blade." Whist said unhappily, dissatisfied with Blade calling him an old guy.

"It seems like this guy is really lucky. He has been scratched in many places by stray bullets, but no vital parts or blood vessels were hit." Whist began to examine the injured Mike. Having treated Blade's wounds for many years, he also has a lot of experience in trauma treatment.

"Well, it looks like another guy who has been bitten by a vampire. The vampire virus hasn't taken his life yet? What a strong guy." Whist said, looking at Mike's neck where he was bitten.

"I'm here. Where are you, Spider-Man and Night Walker?" When Whist was bandaging Mike's external injuries to prevent him from bleeding to death, Frank's voice came from the headphones that connected the two of them.

Frank had already arrived here. Peter greeted Jason and brought Frank in.

"Hi~Blade, this is our boss Frank. Frank is Blade, a hunter who specializes in hunting vampires." Peter introduced the two.

"I've heard of you, the legendary Daywalker." Frank obviously knew Blade. After all, Frank had dealt with vampires for many years.

And Blade is very famous in the vampire world.

They both nodded to each other, and Frank looked at Jason with some concern and said, "I heard that you were hit by a bomb on the viaduct? I think you'd better go get an MRI."

"Thank you, but I don't think anything is wrong." Jason's voice now sounded a little dry, but what he said was true, because when he circulated his internal energy through his internal organs, he did not feel any blockage anywhere.

"Night Walker, you should still try it once. The bomb has collapsed a section of the bridge." Peter also thought that Frank was right.

"Okay, I'll find time to go to the hospital." The two people's persuasion made Jason feel embarrassed to keep rejecting their kindness.

"Frank, what's the matter with you saying today that this is a trap?" Jason asked about the thing that made him most uncomfortable today.

"Remember the parchment scroll in the small box we seized from the warehouse last time?" Frank said. "That's the vampire bible. This time the SWAT team is escorting this."

"Vampire Bible?" Jason suddenly recalled the plot of Blade Runner he had watched in his previous life. It seemed that the villain in the movie cracked the Vampire Bible and summoned a very weak creature to possess his body.

Then he was stabbed to death by Blade with several syringes.

Well, it's very brainless anyway. By the way, is the villain called Deacon Firth? Jason couldn't quite remember, after all, the movie had been watched for a long time, and the timeline before he traveled through time was also an old movie he had watched nearly seven or eight years ago.

Not to mention that it has been more than seventeen years since I traveled to this world. Except for very general things, I have long forgotten all other details.

Here, Jason admires very much those time travelers who can still remember every detail in the original work after more than 20 years.

They can also completely break down the meaning of every action of the villain.

How come they were so badly behaved on Earth with such outstanding memory and analytical ability?

Anyway, Jason doesn't dare to judge whether this Vampire Bible is used to summon that extremely weak thing just like in the original book.

After all, in his fuzzy memory, the vampires in the original book were as weak as they could be, and as mentally retarded as they could be.

Those vampires acted exactly like a bunch of guys whose brains had been eaten by zombies.

The vampires in this world at least have normal IQs, and their brains have not been eaten by zombies.

Moreover, his strength was obviously much stronger than in the movies, so he didn't dare to make any rash conclusions.

"Yes, that's the Vampire Bible," Frank said. "This Bible is the bait to lure vampires in. This is a trap set by SHIELD and the Security Council."

"So that Bible is fake?" Blade suddenly interrupted.

"No, it's true." Frank's answer surprised everyone present, including Whist, who was treating Mike's wound, and stopped his work to look over.

"What the hell is SHIELD doing?" Jason felt even more unhappy now.

"Don't excite Night Walker." Frank consoled Jason and said, "We did seize the Bible from the warehouse, but the Bible they traded was fake in the first place."

"What?" Peter and Jason felt overwhelmed, and now both of them had a black question mark on their faces.

"It's obvious that the Red Water Security Company behind this has set up a vampire." Frank said after taking out a cigar from his pocket and lighting it.

"It's also possible that Red Water Security Company thought it was real. At least it seems that the vampire didn't realize it was fake." Frank took a puff of his cigar.

"So there is a 50% chance that Red Water Security Company is cheating the vampires? Why?" Jason asked. "And how did SHIELD find out that the Bible is fake? After all, even the vampires themselves didn't find out."

"I don't know why Red Water Security did this. As for how SHIELD discovered it was fake, I'm sorry, I don't know either." Frank said and took another puff of his cigar.

"Is this guy a survivor?" Frank asked, looking at Mike who was covered in scars.

"Yes, all the other SWAT team members died because of SHIELD's clever plan." Jason's tone was a little cold. "Not even a complete body could be put together."

Frank looked back at Jason, wanting to say something but in the end he didn't speak.

"Okay, the external injuries have been treated, but whether this guy can survive depends on his luck. After all, he was bitten by a vampire and infected with the vampire virus." Whist had already stopped the bleeding and bandaged all of Mike's external wounds. He wiped the blood off his hands and said.

At the same time, he took out a syringe from a small tray. Jason was very familiar with the contents of the syringe. Frank had prepared a lot of high-concentration garlic essence at the base.

"There are only two results when blood is infected by the vampire virus. Either you die, or there is a very small probability of being transformed into a vampire, but the proportion is very small." Whist expelled the air from the syringe.

"Before a person is completely transformed into a vampire, if garlic essence is injected, there is a certain chance that it will kill the vampire virus and restore the person to normal, but the proportion is very low. I have only saved one lady, and the others all died." Whist said, sounding unsure.

"Whether this person can survive depends on God's will."

Whist was about to inject the garlic essence into Mike's body. But before the needle pierced Mike's skin, he suddenly woke up and turned over and sat up.

Peter reacted the fastest. When he heard Whist's words, he thought that Mike had already turned into a vampire, so he directly sprayed out a stream of spider silk to tie up Mike.

"Wait! Wait!" Whist said, stopping Blade who had already drawn his long knife and was ready to purify Mike. "Oh my God, he was not transformed into a vampire!"
