("I'll solve this question for you…")
Yuna turned her head slowly — and froze.
Yuna (Thought):- H-He's too close… I can see every detail of his face... his lashes, the sharp edge of his jaw... But why? Why is he helping me? And why do his eyes feel... familiar?
[Her heart pounded wildly in her chest].
Yuna ( thought) -: if I stare into his eyes any longer, I might actually have a heart attack...
(Before she could think more, Damian's deep voice interrupted her thoughts).
Damien (he asked calmly) :- "Can I solve it for you.?"
(She could only nod, stepping slightly to the side).
(Without wasting a second, Damian picked up the chalk. His hand moved fast and precise across the blackboard. The room held its breath).
(Within a minute, the equation was done — not just solved, but broken down in a way no student ever had).
[Mr. Anderson's jaw dropped slightly].
Mr. Anderson (thought) :-What kind of student solves like this...?*
(Damian turned, took Yuna's wrist gently, and started leading her back to their desk).
(Yuna's eyes were wide — with from shock, and also from the feel of Damian's hand gripping her wrist. Warm, firm, but not forceful).
(The entire class gasped. Whispers echoed).
{"Is he... taking her with him?"}
{"Did he just solve it for *her*?"}
{"Since when were they close?!"}
(Just as they were halfway to the desk—)
[Mr. Anderson's sharp voice echoed through the room].
Mr Anderson -: "Hey! You, boy! Stop right there!"
(Damian halted).
Mr. Anderson-: "Where do you think you're taking her?" the teacher barked.
(Damian turned slowly, calm but intimidating).
Damien -: "She solved the question. We're going to our seats. You said, anyone who solves it can sit."
Mr. Anderson (eyes narrowed) -: "You solved it — not her. She didn't even write it."
Damien -: "I solved it for her," [Damian said, his voice low and steady] "That means she solved it."
(Growing tension mixed in the air).
Mr. Anderson (clenched his fists)-:"This isn't a game, boy. This is a test."
[Damian's eyes darkened, unfazed].
Damian -: "Then grade her for understanding, not just who held the chalk."
(Silence filled the room).
(Even the chalk dust seemed to freeze).
[Mr. Anderson's face turned red with rage.
His voice thundered through the classroom].
Mr. Anderson -: "How dare you speak to your teacher like this? Is this the kind of manners you've been taught?"
[Damian didn't flinch. His tone remained calm but firm].
Damian: "Sorry, sir… but humiliating students just because they couldn't solve a problem? That's not teaching — that's ego."
(Gasps echoed across the classroom. Some students dropped their pens in shock. Others stared at Damian like he'd just slapped the teacher).
[Mr. Anderson clenched his fists].
Mr. Anderson -: "I know how to teach, boy. I've been doing this longer than you've been breathing! Don't stand there and try to lecture me!"
Damian :-"Yes, you're more experienced than me, sir," (he said without blinking), "but applying the same outdated teaching method on every student — without understanding their differences — that's not experience. That's stagnation."
(Mr. Anderson took a sharp step forward, his anger flaring).
Mr. Anderson :-"You—!"
(But before he could finish, the bell rang — loud and sharp, slicing through the tension like a blade).
Drrrrrrrrrinnnnnggg…
(Students jumped in their seats. Some sighed in relief. The confrontation was over… for now.)
(Damian simply turned away from Mr. Anderson, his expression unreadable. Without saying a word, he gently nudged Yuna to follow).
(Yuna, still stunned, walked back to her seat and quietly sat down. Her fingers clutched the edge of her desk, trying to make sense of everything. Her heart hadn't stopped racing since he stood beside her).
(Damian didn't look at her again — he just made his way to his desk beside Jake, sat down, and calmly pulled out his book for the next class, as if nothing had happened).
(But nothing was normal anymore).
(Mr. Anderson stood frozen at the front of the room, his glare bouncing between Damian and Yuna. His pride stung. His authority — questioned. He grabbed his math book, turned toward the door in fury, but stopped halfway).
(He turned around slowly, voice sharp and filled with venom).
Mr. Anderson :-"You. Boy. Meet me in the principal's office after school."
[His eyes shifted to Yuna].
Mr. Anderson -: "And you — Yuna — you're coming too. Got it?"
[He muttered under his breath as he stormed out]-----
Mr. Anderson -:"Students these days… Want respect, but forget how to give it."
(With a loud thud of the door, he was gone).
(The classroom was dead silent).
(No one said a word. Not even a whisper. The tension still clung to the air like smoke after a fire).
(Those who had been standing at the side slowly walked back to their desks, eyes still fixed on Damian like he was some kind of mysterious rebel prince).
(But Damian didn't react).
(He flipped a page of his book, eyes cool, calm — distant).
[Yuna, sitting beside him, couldn't stop staring. Her thoughts raced].
Yuna (thought) :-Why… why did he help me?.....
