Three women were sitting at a round table discussing a few things. They were none other than, Queen Ellaria, Countess Serene, and Grand Duchess Hester of Southbloom province.
Queen was drinking some tea from her cup while listening carefully to what these two noblewomen said about their respective territories' situations which they have been ruling.
"Your majesty, I am thinking of opening a trade route. I was also thinking of adding a heavy tax on medicine and lowering the tax on alcohol. I think 50% tax in medicine and 5% tax on alcohol sounds good..." Serene said with eyes flashing with greed.
Queen looked at her with a sour face. "Are you stupid. 50% tax on medicine!? Ooor won't be able to afford it..."
"Exactly, so, they will start working hard. More jobs done means more money for us. And with less tax on alcohol, everyone will start to drink it. We are elite those commoners should work under us..." Serene added.
