The koala mink girl trembled beneath Shakky's sharp tone, bowing her head in silence. To her, this human woman was no different from the traffickers who had captured her—another cruel monster.
Shakky, however, was already storming through the auction house. Her eyes darted across the wealth piled up inside. With the help of the Memory Seahorse, now in its wasp form, its six stinger-legs coated in Armament Haki, she cut down guards with merciless precision, devouring their memories as their bodies fell.
"What a waste," Shakky muttered. "If only Uju and Bra Cara were here, we could've carried away even more."
Even so, she gathered what she could, selecting the most precious treasures and valuables. She released several unsold slaves, forcing them to haul the loot. None dared resist—the power she and her beast had shown left them pale with fear.
---
Outside the Auction House
Blood spattered across the cobblestones as Ibadombo twisted a CP agent's head clean off. His aura surged violently, fists pounding the air with shadows of Armament Haki. Guards were sent flying like rag dolls.
"Ahahaha! Today I kill a Celestial Dragon!" His bloodshot eyes locked on Saint Charles Martin. The pirate's fame would be carved into history.
"Stop him! Stop that beast!" the Celestial Dragon shrieked, panic breaking through his arrogance. He shoved his butler forward as a shield and fled, unwilling to meet the fate of Saint Rothschild, whose name had become a humiliation among the Dragons.
"Saint Charles Martin, hold on!" A squad of Marines burst into the fray. Leading them was Vice Admiral Pepon, commander of the Sabaody branch. Until Admiral Kong arrived, he was the highest authority here.
"Protect His Highness! Evacuate immediately!" Pepon barked, ignoring the Celestial Dragon's shrill curses about their slowness. He surged forward, clashing head-on with Ibadombo.
The collision sent shockwaves through the square. Ibadombo skidded backward, gouging twin trenches in the ground. His eyes widened. This branch Vice Admiral was no pushover—his strength rivaled his own.
Since the rebellion of Vice Admiral Dorodo, the government had stationed stronger and more loyal commanders at Sabaody. And Pepon was one of them.
"Ibadombo, Skull-Splitter of Rocks' Pirates," Pepon declared, his blade gleaming with Haki. "You dare lay hands on a Celestial Dragon? Today, I sentence you to death!"
There was no bargaining. The crime alone demanded execution. With Admiral Kong racing to Sabaody, Pepon needed only to delay until reinforcements arrived.
"Tch! These dogs come quick!" Ibadombo snarled, realizing his chance at glory was slipping away. His mission was crumbling—the guards, CP agents, and Marines had stalled him long enough to let Saint Martin escape.
If he stayed, Admiral Kong would arrive and crush him. Gritting his teeth, he turned his thoughts toward retreat. Rocks' plan was compromised, and his own survival was now the only path forward.
---
Shakky slipped from the back entrance, her loot secured, slaves in tow. She glanced toward the battle and scoffed.
"Pathetic. Couldn't even touch the Celestial Dragon's robes." Her lips curled. "Looks like I'll have to do the real work. If I can tie down Kong, that'll buy the time we need."
She led her spoils back to the Kuja ship, where her Amazon warriors were already raiding Sabaody's wealthiest shops, looting amidst the chaos.
"Memory Seahorse, with me," Shakky ordered, taking flight toward the naval base near Grove 60. She knew the Celestial Dragon would be escorted there.
She shed her old clothes, donning a disguise, and with her creature by her side, descended upon the column of Marines guarding Saint Martin.
---
Grove 60
Fifty Marines marched in formation, their rifles trained outward, surrounding the terrified Celestial Dragon.
"Enemies incoming!" a captain barked, spotting two figures descending from the sky. The soldiers braced themselves, blades and rifles ready.
"Long live the Rocks Pirates!" Shakky shouted, her voice full of defiance as she dove. If she could kill a Celestial Dragon here, her path to the throne of Amazon Lily would be sealed.
The Memory Seahorse shifted into its killing form, stripes black as steel, six bladed legs flashing as it carved through Marines like paper.
"These two… they're Zoan users with Haki!" the colonel gasped. Fear rippled through the line. Pepon was still locked in battle with Ibadombo. They had no one strong enough to hold these monsters back until the Admiral arrived.
"Stop them!"
Saint Charles Martin wailed behind his escort, tears streaking his face. "Why me?! Why are all these pirates after me today?! Did I wake up cursed?!"
-------------
Shakky cut through the Marines like a storm, the Memory Seahorse tearing men apart while devouring their memories. With every kill, its strength grew, now surpassing even Fisher Tiger's. Having absorbed the knowledge of countless pirates and strengthened by its Devil Fruit, its power soared higher with every moment.
"Don't kill me! I can give you money—Devil Fruits—anything you want!"
Saint Charles Martin's voice cracked with terror. Watching Marine after Marine fall, he felt his stomach twist. Could he truly be the second Celestial Dragon slain by pirates?
"Will killing a pig like you really awaken my Conqueror's Haki?" Shakky grinned, gripping him by the throat. She remembered the days she had skulked in Sabaody's alleys, too afraid to even look at the Celestial Dragons. How she had hated kneeling in their presence. Now one squirmed helplessly in her grasp.
"You can't! If you kill me, the World Government and Navy will hunt you forever!" Saint Martin shrieked, his body trembling, his heart burning with humiliation. If he survived, he swore he would make these pirates suffer endlessly.
"funny you should mention Brook," Shakky sneered. With a sharp movement, she hauled the bloated noble into the sky, the Memory Seahorse soaring beside her.
"Don't kill me!" Martin screamed, kicking wildly. A foul stream of urine sprayed downward, horrifying the crowds below. Civilians stared upward in shock as the Celestial Dragon dangled like prey in a hawk's claws.
"Captain Rocks is the nemesis of the so-called gods!" Shakky shouted, parading him across the groves. "He will lead the world to overthrow these tyrants!"
Gasps and murmurs rippled across Sabaody.
"The Rocks Pirates captured a Celestial Dragon!"
"Is this a declaration of war against the World Nobles?"
"Even the Celestial Dragons aren't untouchable anymore!"
Panic spread through the archipelago. Civilians fled as if it were two years ago, when an Admiral had devastated the island. They knew what came next: destruction, retaliation, and indiscriminate casualties.
Shakky gazed coldly at the trembling man in her hands. For once, the tables had turned. "The emperor takes turns. Today, it's mine."
Since joining Brook, she had shed her fear of great powers. Even Celestial Dragons and the World Government no longer seemed so terrifying. The heart of a conqueror beat within her, even if her Haki had yet to awaken.
"The blood of the Celestial Dragons is filthy." She bit into his neck briefly, then spat. "Even worse than common pirates."
With a final heave, she carried Saint Martin to Grove 55. Before the eyes of countless witnesses, she snapped his neck with a vicious twist and hurled the corpse onto Ibadombo's ship. Dust and splinters exploded as the body crashed down.
"You go first," she shouted. "I'll help Ibadombo hold them off. Long live the Rocks Pirates!"
Adrenaline surged through her veins. She had done it—she had killed a Celestial Dragon. Excitement burned in her chest. Would this be the spark to awaken her kingly aura?
She vanished into the chaos, slipping away as the Kuja ship prepared to retreat.
---
Elsewhere in the Port
"Retreat! The coating's ruined—we can't dive back to the New World!" Ibadombo's crew panicked aboard their ship. "The Admiral is coming!"
"The Celestial Dragon is dead! We'll all be executed if we stay. We have to run now!"
The men abandoned their captain, casting off without him. Terror drowned their loyalty. Rocks' pawn or not, none wanted to die with a Celestial Dragon corpse on their deck.
Ibadombo, locked in combat with Vice Admiral Pepon, finally broke free and sprinted toward the port. His chest heaved, his veins bulged, and fury twisted his face. But when he arrived, only a faint shadow of his ship remained on the horizon. His own men had betrayed him.
"You bastards…!" he roared, eyes bloodshot. His chance at glory was gone.
---
Admiral Kong soared above the groves on Moon Steps, fury radiating from him. The slaughtered Marines and the reports he had gathered confirmed it: a Celestial Dragon had been abducted.
Never again could such a disaster occur.
His presence shook the island. Civilians cowered, fleeing into the mangroves. Kong's killing intent spread like a storm.
Spotting Pepon still clashing with Ibadombo, he dropped from the sky like a hammer. "Where is Saint Martin?!" he bellowed.
Ibadombo's heart clenched. Between Pepon and Kong, despair gnawed at him. His only choice was to dive into the sea, circling the coastline, hiding deep in the groves of Sabaody.
The Celestial Dragon was dead, and he was left with nothing but betrayal and failure.
