"Franky, you did a great job!" Everyone praised him without hesitation. Franky had definitely given them a surprise advantage.
Originally, facing Kizaru would have been extremely difficult, as only Zoro, Sanji, and Tashigi possessed Armament Haki. Now, with Jango's disruptive hypnotic skills and the serious threat posed by Franky's Seastone knuckles , they could at least endure a fight with Kizaru for a longer period. Meanwhile, Mr. 3 (Galdino) was ready to use his wax walls to block light bullets for the group at any moment.
However, the crew didn't underestimate Kizaru; anyone who reached the rank of Marine Admiral was a true monster.
"Yata no Kagami (Eight-foot Qiong Gouyu)!"
Kizaru immediately abandoned any thoughts of close-quarters combat and unleashed an intense, concentrated barrage of light bombs. The continuous rumbling explosions filled the air, forcing Zoro and the others to grit their teeth and dodge frantically. Mr. 3 frantically tried to create wax walls, but each wall could only stop a single light bomb. Since the light bullets were faster than the rate at which he could construct the walls, he eventually had to abandon the plan and focus on dodging.
"Yata no Kagami!" "Yata no Kagami!" "Yata no Kagami!"
Kizaru utilized his Devil Fruit power to move through the air while continuously shooting concentrated light bullets. He was like a fighter jet equipped with a machine gun, battering the crew below.
Despite the overwhelming attack, while Zoro and the others couldn't defeat Kizaru, their ability to evade was top-notch. After Kizaru's ferocious assault, they were still vigorously running forward. This infuriated Kizaru. Failing to capture them was bad enough, but if he couldn't even manage to injure anyone, he was guaranteed to be severely reprimanded by Fleet Admiral Sengoku.
While Kizaru was chasing Zoro's group, Robin, Nami, and Mari were also encountering trouble. The three had been shopping in a commercial district, carrying three large bags of clothes, jewelry, biscuits, tea, books, and maps inside the unique coating bubbles of the Sabaody Archipelago. However, before they could leave the street, they noticed a large group of figures in black suits appearing.
"It's the CP organization!" Robin immediately recognized them, having dealt with them countless times before.
Nami and Mari instantly became alert. Nami pulled out her Clima-Tact , while Mari pulled out a bag of biscuits and started eating. Mari's vigilance seemed unusually calm, as if nothing out of the ordinary were happening.
"Nico Robin, the Devil Child! Marianou, the Psycho Painter! Nami, the Little Thieving Cat!"
A familiar voice bellowed. A large, overweight man wearing a red loincloth appeared, leading two Pacifistas. He looked like a triumphant veteran returning home.
"Who is here?" Mari asked casually.
"Mari, you've forgotten. It's the red loincloth guy!" Nami answered.
"That's right, I think I saw him once during the Marineford War. So, what business do you have with us, Mr. Red Loincloth?" Robin asked, completely unafraid. She knew Carl's advanced Observation Haki covered the entire island, and if they were in any real danger, he would definitely come.
"I'm not 'Red Loincloth'! I am the man, Sentomaru!" he shouted angrily. "You all got away from me at Marineford before, but this time you've thrown yourselves right into my trap! I will definitely bring you to justice. Impel Down is your final destination! PX-9! PX-10!"
The two Pacifistas immediately opened their mouths, lasers beginning to form inside.
Robin quickly crossed her hands in front of her chest. Two large arms instantly sprouted on the heads of the Pacifistas and began vigorously beating them. The lasers, which were still brewing, exploded in the robots' mouths, causing thick smoke to pour out.
"PX-9! PX-10!" Sentomaru's face twisted in fury. He hadn't expected Nico Robin to react so quickly. Even though she had only encountered the Pacifistas once or twice, she already had a high level of combat experience against them. The two massive robots were severely damaged before they could even attack. Fortunately, they weren't completely destroyed; only their oral lasers were rendered inoperable.
"Attack together! Take them down, dead or alive!" Sentomaru tossed aside any rules and ordered the Pacifistas and the CP agents to surround the women. He even launched his own attack.
Mari finished eating her bag of biscuits, licked her fingers, and then took out her paintbrush.
"Color Mix: Bullfighting Red!"
Crack! A huge red pattern instantly appeared on the ground. The CP agents who stepped on the red pattern immediately became confused and panicked. Sentomaru had heard of the Psychological Painter Mari's power, but he hadn't expected her ability to affect such a wide area.
"Everyone, get ready for a thunderstorm! Lightning strikes from the sky!" Nami reminded them with a sweet smile. Black clouds instantly gathered above, and a huge bolt of lightning crashed down, immediately knocking out most of the remaining CP agents.
Sentomaru was stunned; a large group of his subordinates had been taken out immediately after the attack began. But he knew the Straw Hats were never easy to deal with. The CP agents he brought had only learned a few of the Marine Six Styles at most and weren't truly strong , so it made sense they were defeated quickly.
The Straw Hats are truly ruthless! Sentomaru recalled his debut at the Summit War, where he was supposed to lead the Pacifistas to dominate the battlefield. Instead, he ran into the worst possible enemies—the Straw Hat Pirates. His Pacifistas were destroyed several times, and he himself was hypnotized by Jango. He hadn't accomplished a single goal.
This made Sentomaru furious, and he hated the Straw Hats. Now that he had found several of the weaker girls from the crew, especially the special target Nico Robin, he couldn't let them go. Capturing her would be a great achievement.
"...Straw Hat Crew, none of you can escape!" Sentomaru roared, charging directly toward Robin. The two damaged Pacifistas followed right behind him.
"Die!" Sentomaru yelled. He landed right in front of Robin, ready to attack, but suddenly froze completely. His murderous intent quickly faded, and he stood there with a confused look.
I clearly wanted to catch Nico Robin, so why can't I bring myself to move now? he thought.
Mari silently took another bite of her biscuit. "Color Mix: Black of Betrayal! As long as you stand in the black pattern, you will feel the urge to betray the Marines".
Indeed, a black pattern had appeared right under Sentomaru's feet. Mari's speed was incredibly fast; even an experienced veteran like Sentomaru hadn't been able to react, which was truly terrifying.
"Mari, thank you," Robin said with a slight smile. She then used Twenty Fleur to take down all the remaining CP agents.
As for the two Pacifistas, Sentomaru's sudden pause caused them to malfunction as well, and they stood still behind him. Nami created another thundercloud and zapped the two Pacifistas with lightning, causing them to completely short-circuit.
"It seems Franky has made good progress recently in researching Pacifistas , and these two guys should come in handy," Nami remarked, looking at the downed robots.
