Chapter 175 - Chapter 176: Replacing the Spirit Hall, Barbie Tang San

. Mashunuo gazed with a dejected expression at the magnificent palace, now stripped of its Spirit Hall sign. He hunched even lower. As a subordinate of the Spirit Hall, he had been abandoned. Positions in the other Spirit Halls were all filled with empty positions. Mashunuo was practically out of a job. He had spent most of his life guiding young spirit masters, and now he felt a bit lost.

Mashunuo thought it might be time to retire and return home to enjoy his old age. However, the moment he exited the Spirit Hall gates, he looked even older.

At this time, Mashunuo felt that someone was blocking him, and he said weakly and lonely:

"Are you here to certify your soul master level at the Spirit Hall? Let's go. Notting City doesn't want the Spirit Hall anymore, and I'm retiring."

Su Yuntao saw that Mashunuo, who was full of energy and spirit, now seemed to have lost his soul, and then said gently:

"Master Mashunuo, I am a disciple of the leader of Longmen Sect. On behalf of Longmen Sect, I invite you to be the director of our newly established department. After all, you have done so much for all the civilian soul masters in Notting City. Even if you have no merit, you have worked hard." Mashunuo

took the exquisite invitation letter in disbelief. He felt that he had strength again. Mashunuo asked the tall and handsome Su Yuntao in a puzzled tone:

"Then how do you, Longmen Sect, deal with us civilian soul masters? Awakening the spirit for free every year is not a good job. What will happen to those poor soul masters who rely on soul master subsidies in the future!"

Su Yuntao didn't say anything about this. He looked down on those soul masters who did not produce anything but took soul master subsidies for nothing, and spent the whole day on wine and women with the Spirit Hall subsidies.  However, those civilian spirit masters who actively and diligently cultivate are rare, and Su Yuntao has only encountered a few in all these years.

"Master Ma Xiunuo, I'll take my leave. I've delivered the items to you. All your questions are clearly stated in the invitation! Farewell!"

Su Yuntao bowed respectfully to Ma Xiunuo, the guide for civilian spirit masters, then walked around him and began to transform the Spirit Hall according to the ideas of his teacher Yu Xiaogang. Now that the Spirit Hall has withdrawn from Notting City's sphere of influence, the Longmen Sect will also accept the civilian awakening benefits.

Ma Xiunuo put on his reading glasses and carefully examined the invitation in his hand. His hands trembled in disbelief as he said,

"As expected, there is still a way out for us common soul masters! But this is also a good thing. Those soul masters who are idle and always causing trouble won't need subsidies. I hope that common

soul masters will have a better path to cultivation in the future." The invitation mentioned upcoming reforms to common soul master welfare. Soul masters who ate subsidies like parasites will no longer receive soul master subsidies. Those facing financial hardship, such as those crippled in soul hunting, will receive soul master subsidies. Common soul masters with exceptional talent will receive the same monthly subsidy as the Spirit Hall, but the age limit will be reduced to 25.

Those with innate soul power above level seven will receive some cultivation resources monthly, but they must join the outer sect of the Longmen Sect.

Furthermore, Yu Xiaogang has revised the soul master awakening ceremony, concentrating soul master awakenings on a small soul guide. Starting today, the construction of spirit awakening stations will begin. Every five villages will have a spirit awakening hall, all controlled by Yun Lan, eliminating the need for spirit awakening deacons to travel to the villages.  Furthermore, every civilian spirit master registered with the Longmen Sect receives a small spirit guide connected to the Yunlan Blue Silver Grass network.

It contains all the owner's information, including name, age, spirit power, spirit ring configuration, and even a gold spirit coin bank card for easier management.

Furthermore, Yu Xiaogang established a spirit awakening department that also provides job placement and mission issuance, effectively creating an alien-like mercenary guild. After all, with the spirit master information and spirit guide, everything becomes seamless. It's time to give those idle civilian spirit masters something to do.

This is also Yu Xiaogang's plan to cultivate adventurous and disciplined civilian spirit masters, as they'll need manpower to explore the Douluo Universe.

After a period of chaos, Notting City quickly returned to peace. Civilians discovered they could still receive their Spirit Master subsidies despite their new location. However, those Spirit Masters who had been living off Spirit Hall subsidies all day long left the city, cursing and swearing. This significantly improved safety

in Notting City, a positive development indeed! From then on, Spirit Awakening was no longer restricted to a single month each year. Children aged six and over, accompanied by their parents, could awaken their own Spirits in the Spirit Awakening Hall built by the Longmen Sect. Farmers, who had toiled their entire lives on the land, were startled to see Yun Lan's virtual projection guiding their children's Spirit Awakening.

However, they soon grew accustomed to the sight. Markets gradually began to form outside the Longmen Sect's Spirit Awakening Hall. Yu Xiaogang, upon discovering this, didn't mind, as long as no one vandalized the Hall!

Douluo Continent then entered a period of peaceful development. Within three years, Notting City experienced rapid growth, and Spirit Guidance devices became widely available.

Yu Xiaogang's Longmen Sect grew stronger and stronger in Notting City, and the Heaven Dou Empire and the Star Luo Empire were helpless to prevent Notting City from escaping their control. After all, the Longmen Sect now boasted several Titled Douluo, and Yu Xiaogang had also reached the Titled Douluo realm in the past three years. However, his divine cultivation still felt a little short of perfection.

Spirit rings were merely decorative to Yu Xiaogang; he could acquire any spirit skill he desired. Flanders and Liu Erlong also achieved Titled Douluo status, albeit only at a preliminary level. With six Titled Douluos now ruling the Longmen Sect, Notting City was in the spotlight.

Furthermore, many civilian spirit masters were quick to act, registering with the Notting City Spirit Awakening Hall to receive a subsidy, then registering with the Spirit Hall to receive another subsidy. This infuriated the Spirit Hall, but they were unable to manage the situation.

Yu Xiaogang paid no mind to such clever tricks. After all, if he didn't do anything, he wouldn't be able to get his Spirit Master subsidy from his Spirit Awakening Hall. Recently, Yu Xiaogang had been secretly in close contact with the Heaven Dou Empire and the Star Luo Empire. The emergence of the Longmen Sect had given the two empires hope of countering the Spirit Hall.

Knowing the two empires intended to use him as a pawn, Yu Xiaogang kept holding out for benefits, saying, "I want the ammunition, I'll run away," leaving the two empires helpless.  Shrek Academy and the Spirit Hall's Advanced Academy were considered the best Spirit Academies on the Douluo Continent.

The emergence of spirit tools had changed the rules of the Spirit Competition, sparking heated debate among all factions over whether spirit tools could be used in the competition. Traditional spirit masters claimed that this would sap their training. Yu Xiaogang simply deployed a few low-end paving spirit tools, acceleration spirit tools, defensive spirit tools, and various paving-type spirit tools.

These were minor matters, and Yu Xiaogang was content to observe them. The Academy Spirit Master Competition was merely a minor incident. He loved watching Tang San flee and hide from Bibi Dong and Liu Erlong every day. After all, the older Tang San

grew, the more desperate he became. Tang San had preferred not awakening his bloodline, believing he would grow into a manly person. However, reality took a different turn.

This made the two most powerful women in the Longmen Sect extremely eager to see Tang San dressed as a woman. He looked like a giant Barbie dress-up doll, causing him to constantly complain to Ah Yin.

After all, Tang San, a nerdy man in his previous life, was completely unable to handle the current situation.

Sometimes, when Yu Xiaogang encountered Tang San, Tang San would blink his large blue-gold eyes, his chubby little face pitifully pleading with Yu Xiaogang not to tell Bibi Dong and the others where he was hiding.

Yu Xiaogang would pretend to agree, secretly telling Bibi Dong through Yun Lan, then watch helplessly as Tang San, hopeless, was discovered and captured by Bibi Dong and Liu Erlong and used as a dress-up doll.

After all, Tang San is so cute right now. He should be bullied while he's still young. Ah Yin has the most and most complete photos of Tang San in women's clothing. After all, Ah Yin can always observe Tang San through the Blue Silver Grass network!
