"Vice Admiral Garp!"
"Don't—!"
"Damn it! Stop!"
Countless Marines roared in anger and despair. They watched, helpless, as Elior unleashed volley after volley of ice arrows, each one piercing through Garp's body. Flesh and blood exploded from every impact. The scene was so brutal that many Marines couldn't bear to watch.
Finally, Garp collapsed.
His body was in a horrific state — torn apart, riddled with countless bloody holes.
The Marines were stunned, frozen in disbelief and rage. Some even fell to their knees in helpless grief.
"G–Garp…"
"H–He…"
Meanwhile, the pirates were ecstatic.
They understood perfectly: now that Elior had moved personally, Garp no longer had any chance of survival.
Only death awaited him.
Fujitora, who desperately tried to prevent Elior from finishing Garp, had been blocked again and again by towering walls of ice that Elior created in an instant.
Now Garp lay on the frozen battlefield, his eyes glazing over. His pupils began to cloud white. It wouldn't be long before his life ended completely.
His body was ruined. His heart was gone.
Elior hovered above the battlefield, coldly looking down at him.
Garp's final vision was only a blurry silhouette. Even in his fading consciousness, he understood that the figure towering over him… was Elior.
He tried to speak, but only blood poured from his mouth.
Ten seconds later, Garp's life finally came to an end. Because of the resentment and unwillingness burning in his heart, his eyes remained open.
Most of Elior's victims died like that — eyes wide with hatred. But what could they do? Nothing.
Knowing Garp was truly dead, Elior descended onto the ice, which froze solid beneath his feet.
With one kick, he sent Garp's shattered corpse flying.
It shot across the battlefield, crashing toward Sengoku several kilometers away.
Sengoku, locked in combat with Kaido, had been smashed around repeatedly by the Yonko's kanabo. Even so, he managed to catch Garp's mangled body.
A corpse — nothing more.
Garp was dead.
His lifelong friend died right in front of him… and Sengoku was powerless to save him.
Another friend, Zephyr, was dead as well.
Tears burst from Sengoku's eyes; he nearly broke down.
"Looks like I'll have to step up, Sengoku!"
Kaido, in his hybrid form, was trembling with excitement. Even he hadn't expected Garp to die.
And the corpse—
It was horrific.
Even Kaido felt a chill run down his spine.
Kaido opened his mouth and released a blast of scorching heat; a pillar of magma-like fire erupted outward.
In hybrid form, he could fully use his azure dragon abilities — and with nearly the same destructive power.
Boom!
The grieving Sengoku was struck again, sent flying as flames burned across his body.
Kaido charged forward to continue the assault.
But before the Yonko could strike again, Sengoku roared — a world-shaking bellow fueled by rage and sorrow.
"Impact Wave!"
Kaido countered with Thunder Bagua, the impact colliding with Sengoku's shockwave.
"Pirates! You filth — go to hell!"
Sengoku's fury ignited completely.
His battle power surged, enough that even Kaido felt pressured.
At the same time, the Marines were shaken by the deaths of Zephyr and Garp.
Even Akainu, despite all his conflicts with Garp, was consumed by grief and fury.
The furious Fleet Admiral charged Big Mom again, gathering all his power for a full-force assault.
"Oh?"
"Trying to go all out?"
Big Mom only grinned, hammering him with relentless attacks.
She had no fear of Akainu.
Across the battlefield, many high-ranking Marines were fighting desperately.
But countless others were crushed by despair.
Meanwhile, the pirates were more energized than ever. They saw victory. They fought with overwhelming vigor.
The Marines… now saw only despair.
"Garp… is he really dead?"
Fujitora, stepping lightly atop an ice floe, muttered to himself. His heart was weighed down by grief. He knew Garp was gone — yet he couldn't bring himself to accept it.
At that moment, Elior stepped onto the frozen sea. Instantly, the ocean around him froze solid.
"Yes. He's dead."
Elior spoke calmly, without the slightest hesitation.
He thought killing Garp would excite him — but in truth, he felt nothing. Cold. Steady.
He walked across the ice toward Fujitora.
To Elior, Fujitora was the only Marine he didn't want to kill — besides Gion, of course.
In Elior's eyes, Fujitora was a truly righteous Marine. Compassionate, just, able to distinguish right from wrong. The purest justice in the Navy.
Yet even so, they were destined to be enemies.
Still, Elior had no intention of killing him. Fujitora was far too valuable.
But convincing him to defect would be nearly impossible.
Still… Elior was willing to try.
In the next moment, Elior appeared before Fujitora in a blur of speed — so fast that even Fujitora couldn't react immediately.
"Killing the enemy is no problem for me," Elior said calmly. "After all… all of you came knocking on my door."
As he spoke, an overwhelming gravitational force crushed down on him — like a mountain. The ice beneath him shattered, forming a bottomless circular crater.
Elior hovered above it effortlessly.
"You think this kind of gravity affects me?"
Elior kicked, sending a devastating shockwave. Fujitora blocked with his blade, but the force launched him hundreds of meters away.
A moment later, Elior vanished — but not to chase Fujitora.
He was heading for Sengoku, Akainu, and the others.
But suddenly, a young Marine threw himself in front of him.
Garp's disciple — Koby.
Of all the Marines, Koby was one of the least able to accept Garp's death.
He was consumed by rage.
"You evil pirate — die!"
"Soru!"
Koby vanished with a burst of speed—
— but Elior casually grabbed him by the head and stopped him dead in the air.
"Koby!!"
His friend Helmeppo screamed in terror.
Other Marines trembled.
"Stop!!"
Tsuru, sensing disaster, tried to intervene.
Elior floated above them, looking at Koby with cold indifference.
That gaze made Koby tremble — though anger still burned in him.
"A fly trying to shake a tree… only ends in death."
Then Elior tore Koby's head from his body.
A fountain of blood erupted skyward.
Elior hadn't even used real strength — Koby was simply far too weak.
So weak that he didn't even have time to scream.
He just died instantly.
