Chapter 163 - Limiter Remover

— — — — — —

Eirin Yagokoro began explaining to Veyron the strange changes she'd noticed in the Almighty Serum ever since he first tried lighting up his Soul Light in the depths of his mind.

To demonstrate, she casually took a sip right in front of him.

"…Huh?"

Veyron blinked.

As he watched Eirin drink it, he could feel her entire presence rise—just slightly, but noticeably. Her aura grew sharper.

Seriously?

Golden light flickered in his eyes. Driven by the instinctive curiosity of a man with access to cheat codes, he activated his Soul Light to directly investigate what had changed in the semen.

A few moments later…

His eyes returned to normal, and he let out a silent sigh, pinching the bridge of his nose.

Turned out the problem—or rather, the cause—was him.

Because Eirin had been calling this Elixir "Almighty Serum" so often, even he had subconsciously accepted that label. And so, when he lit his Soul Light, his reality-rewriting will retroactively "upgraded" his sem..uh the Almighty Serum.

"Yup. That's more or less what I expected," Eirin nodded after hearing what he'd seen.

"…Wait a sec." A thought suddenly hit Veyron, and he paused. "I just remembered something."

Besides the stash in Eirin's basement, he'd left more of this stuff behind in another world—a bit of a prank, really, born from his own twisted sense of humor.

Now curious, he reached out across dimensions, anchoring his senses to the Treeborn World.

A short while later, he returned—visibly conflicted.

"…Your stuff works across worlds too?"

Eirin raised an eyebrow. She had a good idea of what he'd done during those few seconds of disappearance.

"Yeah… they're already drinking it," Veyron muttered with a heavy sigh.

Not only were they drinking it, but after seeing him again, Larentia had gotten creative. She'd filed a formal request, saying she wanted to rename the top pool of the World Tree and the substance within it—suggesting names like "Holy Cum Pool" and "Serum of the World."

And she'd even brought a PowerPoint.

What was he supposed to do?

Naturally, he just paused time, gave Larentia his hard rod to help her relax, then topped off the spring—Olga and Celestine had already drained most of it, after all.

"…So, about that thing I mentioned earlier," Eirin followed up. "What do you think now?"

"That?" Veyron's face hardened. "Absolutely not."

With complete seriousness, he shut it down on the spot.

Sure, he was special enough that certain human limits—like "a tiger doesn't eat its own cubs"—no longer applied to him. But bathing and drinking the so-called Almighty Serum like it was plain water?

Hell no.

He wouldn't even use the big pool in the Treeborn World for water fights. When he needed water, he went to a smaller spring a little higher up—fed by dew collected from the leaves of the World Tree itself. That stuff was pure.

"Alright, fair enough," Eirin said, not surprised by his rejection. She moved on to another topic. "Now that you've hit mid-Tier Four, I'm guessing your life structure has evolved again, right?"

"Yeah." Veyron nodded, catching on to what she was really getting at.

Even though the previously made Almighty Serum had already been enhanced thanks to his Soul Light's reality-rewriting effect, his newly created serum—produced after his latest life-tier evolution—was bound to be on an entirely different level.

...

To illustrate, he brought up a minor event from his time in the Highschool of the Dead world:

Back then, just one night of getting fucked by Veyron had allowed Yuriko Takagi's physical body to undergo enhancements that rivaled what Saeko Busujima and the others could only achieve after months of hardcore training and monster meat-based diets.

That was the old him.

Now? With Soul Light active and his life tier upgraded again…

It wouldn't be a few months' worth of gains anymore—it'd be years, at the very least.

And let's not forget—training with Sea King meat still had hard limits, depending on the individual's potential.

The Almighty Serum, though? It didn't care about "bottlenecks" or any of that nonsense.

...

"Making a new batch isn't a problem. It's not that I got bored with your body," Veyron said, gesturing at the still-full barrels lining the lab basement. "But what do we do with all of these?"

"Easy," Eirin replied with a straight face. "Aren't you still raising a dog yokai and a fox yokai?"

"…Oof. That's a great idea." Veyron grinned and gave her a thumbs-up. Then he rested his hand on the silver-haired beauty's shoulder and added seriously, "But let's not stockpile too much this time. For the foreseeable future, my strength—and everything tied to it—is gonna start leveling up fast. Really fast."

He wasn't exaggerating.

In fact, saying "fast" might've been putting it mildly.

The reason for this insane growth spurt came down to two key things:

First, the golden-tier talent he gained in the Fubuki World, OPM—[Limiter Remover].

Second, the Soul Light he'd just awakened in the deepest depths of his mind sea.

From now on, his growth becomes all about strengthening Soul Light, expanding its reach across the vast ocean of the soul until one day, it merges completely with his true self.

Adding that his limiter's been fully removed?

That's when the rules change. His potential becomes unlimited. He is no longer bound by ceilings or scaling curves.

So, with both of those cheats running at the same time, Veyron found himself in a situation so ridiculous even he—someone who practically lived on hacks—couldn't help but be stunned.

At first, he'd manually guided the awakening of his Soul Light.

But after that?

Even though he hadn't done a thing mentally—hadn't meditated, visualized, or focused—the golden flame that represented his Soul Light kept growing on its own, constantly expanding in the sea of his soul.

And because of its unique properties…

That expansion translated directly into the system interface—where every upgradeable skill Trait began leveling up passively.

At first, when the limiter was just removed, he'd get passive experience ticks like "+1" or "+2."

Now?

He was seeing "+1000," "+1001," "+1002"… and climbing by the second.

You heard that right: his passive experience gain had skyrocketed over a thousand times, and it was still increasing with time.

And it wasn't just limited to the traits that showed experience bars.

Even the talent traits, like the one he got from Yuuka Kazami—[photosynthesis]—or more abstract systems like the Total micro control of the Gene Lock…

All of them were evolving too.

He could feel it. Every moment, every second—Veyron could clearly sense those abilities climbing.

And he hadn't even lifted a finger.

 ---

Half a month later

"Maybe I should just rename [Photosynthesis] to [Superman Template]..."

"Feels like I just cheated on a cheat… this is ridiculous."
