Josh abruptly started the car engine.
The car screeched out of where it was parking , tyres squealing as he took a sharp turn.
Anita's eyes widened ,her heart racing with fear .
" What is going on?" She asked her voice trembling .
" Just hold on", he replied ,his eyes fixed on the driving mirror .
" We've company..." He added.
The white SUV emerged from the shadows , tailing them closely .
Anita's eyes darted back and forth ,panic setting in .
"Who are they ?" Josh demanded his face grimmed .
" They were my father's men but they work for my brother,Alvin ." She answered with an expression of fear.
Josh's jaw clenched .
" I don't know ,but we need to lose them .
Fast...." He said his face more than serious.
His eyes narrowed, his gaze flicking between the road and the review mirror .
He then took a sharp turn ,the tyres screeching in protest.
Anita's stomach lurched as the fishtailed ,but Josh's skilled hands steadied it.
The white SUV behind them swerved to maintain pursuit ,but Josh expertly navigated the winding roads, dodging pedestrians and other vehicles.
Anita's knuckles were white as she clutched the door handle .
" You're quite a driver," she said ,her voice tight with fear.
" I've had my share of experience." , Josh said gripping the steering wheel even more tight .
The SUV rammed into them ,making Anita's heart skip a beat ,her hands gripping Josh's thighs harder after a jerk.
At a moment ,they all forgot about the SUV behind them, there eyes locked .
A surge of electricity passing into them.
The language of emotions speaking in their eyes.
The SUV rammed into them once again, their minds back to senses .
Josh's hands holding on even more tightly to the steering wheel .
He made a sharp turn branching off the main road heading to his right hand.
He passed from an old warning sign .
'OLD BRIDGE UNDER CONSTRUCTION , PLEASE DON'T TAKE THE ROUTE.'
The sign post has fallen down, it can't be noticed by the person who is rushing.
The SUV as well followed with unnoticed company behind them.
A black mountain climbing bike carrying a man worn in blue denim jacket and black leather pants , covering the face with black helmet.
Carrying a pistol at his back inside his pants.
The bridge is constructed between two mountains, down a huge river flowing with electricity.
The storm separated the bridge in the middle.
It occupies rusted metals and heavyweight rocks at every side .
After reaching almost to the end of one side of the bridge,Josh stopped the car .
The SUV as well stopped ,the one on the bike watching them at a far using binoculars.
A man came out of the SUV ,heading to where Josh and Anita are.
" Enough with games,people....
Just give up because you've nowhere to go..." A man said getting in between the SUV and Josh's car.
" It's over now, Anita .
Just go to them, they won't hurt you because they're your brother's men...." Josh said, his eyes locking onto her .
" You're right ,he won't hurt me because he need me as his wife .....
He murdered a man who took him in,gave him a fancy life all these years...
Do you think if one day he gets tired of me,he will hesitate to kill me...?"
Anita said ,her eyes welled with tears .
Josh slowly lifted his hand and rubbed her tears using his thumb .
The emotional connection grew more and more within them, a magnetic force pulling them towards each other.
Anita slowly closed her eyes,her lips part from each other.

Anita says as he let go of him, she slowly steps out of the car, walking towards the white SUV. The men waiting for her at the other side.
Before she could get much closer to the SUV,a sound of a fired bullet echoed in their ears.
Josh abruptly left the car,his eyes landing on Anita who was slowly losing her balance.
He flicked and held her before she could make it on the ground.
Another gunshot got released,landing in Josh's chest.
The pressure of the bullet pushed him to the old fences of the bridge.
His hands holding more tight on Anita .
The rest of the bullets shot the men in the SUV.
After executing the job, the man on the bike threw a pistol into the river and started his bike engine.
" I think it's over now, there is no more hatred, there is no more revenge...
It's just our love which will always last..."
Josh says trying to trap air in his lungs.
". Am ready to die with you ,Josh ." Anita says and hold on him so tight.
The old fences fell off the bridge carrying them along to the river .
Six hours earlier.
Emmanuel paid the cutthroat to murder Josh on his way from the office.
He followed him on his bike until he rushed into Anita .
The perfect time for his death was at that time but he noticed the white SUV car stalking them as well.
Before executing his mission ,he got another contract of murdering Anita along with the men in the SUV from Alvin Ricky .
There was no perfect time for him as this.
