Ye Wen slowly opened his eyes. Though they appeared ordinary, within them flickered the endless cycle of creation and destruction, as if containing the ultimate truths of heaven and earth.

"Though I was fishing, to reel in five big catches at once… it seems the Demon Heaven Civilization isn't as simple and brutish as it appears on the surface. They must have infiltrated our ranks using special methods to steal information.

Investigating our own people is unpleasant, but this issue must eventually be faced. Send out the order—it's time to begin a thorough housecleaning."

At this moment, Ye Wen also rose to his feet.

"Though you all are as strong as monsters, don't underestimate me, the strongest of Douluo Civilization!"

As his words faded, Ye Wen vanished from his original position. In the previously silent and dark expanse of the cosmos, brilliant sparks began to erupt, dazzling and radiant.

The staff aboard the Vast Ocean Ark remained silent but bowed respectfully toward the battlefield. Then, without hesitation, they quickly maneuvered the Vast Ocean Ark away from the combat zone.

This wasn't because there were spies among them planning to betray their home.

Rather, the overwhelming power of a Supreme God King had long surpassed the point where mere super divine artifacts could resist him unilaterally.

Moreover, the fact that the Demon Heaven Civilization dared to ambush Ye Wen meant the forces they sent would not be significantly weaker than him. A battle between two beings at least as powerful as Supreme God Kings would not only leave them unable to assist Ye Wen, but they might even become a burden. Thus, the wisest course of action was to follow Ye Wen's plan and retreat from the battlefield in advance.

On the Battlefield –

Ye Wen had already mastered the truth of space. With every movement, he shattered vast swathes of space, creating spatial rifts. Any ordinary god caught within them would be instantly obliterated.

But the Demon Heaven entities sent to kill Ye Wen were no ordinary foes.

After a brief exchange, Ye Wen had already gauged their level of strength.

In the Demon Heaven Civilization, only those who reached the rank of Divine Official were granted the title of Demon Envoy.

Those who reached the Tier-3 god level were simply called Demon Heaven beings, while Tier-2 gods were known as Great Demon Heaven beings. Tier-1 gods were referred to as Demon Heaven Honored Ones, and once they reached the pinnacle of godhood—the God King level—they were bestowed the most revered title: Ancestral Demon Lord.

These were terrifying beings capable of founding entire clans.

Though the Demon Heaven Civilization had only ten Ancestral Demon Lords, what made the Demon Heaven race truly fearsome—aside from their bizarre abilities—was their ability to fight across tiers.

This was why, even after developing specialized countermeasures, Douluo Civilization remained locked in a stalemate with the Demon Heaven Civilization.

A god-level civilization that grew by devouring and corrupting life-bearing planets without restraint not only possessed formidable combat strength but also boasted numerous god-level entities. Without the development of large-scale countermeasures, Douluo Civilization's situation would remain in this prolonged deadlock.

Ye Wen's purpose here was to capture one of the Ancestral Demon Lords of the Demon Heaven race for research, seeking a way to break the deadlock.

However, it now seemed that not only did Ye Wen view them as prey, but they were also fully aware of his significance to Douluo Civilization—and had sent half of their Ancestral Demon Lords to ambush him!

Indeed, no civilization capable of dominating a corner of the cosmos was simple.

After a brief exchange, Ye Wen's eyes revealed a chilling intent to kill.

It was time to get serious.

Though Ye Wen had grown accustomed to wielding the Sea God Trident, it was already an outdated relic of a bygone era.

Ye Wen, ever the innovator, had long completed the iteration of his personal divine artifact.

[Super Divine Artifact·Boundless Vast Ocean Blade]

With a mental call from Ye Wen, an overwhelming surge of blue blades erupted from his martial soul, instantly shrouding the cosmos.

Like ordinary Demon Heaven beings, the Ancestral Demon Lords varied in form, but their features were sharper, and each bore a Dharma Wheel on their backs, filled with the ceaseless wails of countless tormented souls. Their evil aura was at its absolute peak!

One of the Ancestral Demon Lords, with a lion-like head, gazed fearfully at the torrent of super divine blades descending upon them and exclaimed in shock:

"How is this possible? Every single one of these blades is a super divine artifact!"

But before the five Ancestral Demon Lords could continue their astonishment, Ye Wen's attack had already arrived. The torrent of blue blades streaked like meteors, piercing relentlessly toward them without hesitation.

Though the Demon Heaven race generally possessed strong resistance against conventional god-level opponents, they began to wail in agony the moment they were struck by Ye Wen's super divine artifacts.

An Ancestral Demon Lord with an eagle-like head hastily retreated from Ye Wen's range of attack, astonished as he exclaimed:

"Damn it! What kind of being is this Vast Ocean God King? Each of his super divine artifacts is specifically imbued with positive energy targeting our Demon Heaven race!?"

Ye Wen sneered but offered no reply.

While he was capable of launching large-scale attacks tailored to the Demon Heaven race, this was due to his unique abilities. Conventional god-level beings couldn't replicate such feats, which was precisely why capturing them for research to develop other countermeasures was necessary.

As the few Ancestral Demon Lords of the Demon Heaven Civilization, these five were no ordinary beings. They quickly employed various methods to either evade Ye Wen's attacks or defend against them.

But just as Ye Wen prepared to press his advantage, unleashing his domain to lock all six of them within his realm world and capture them, a subtle fluctuation of divine energy emanated from behind him.

"Asura·Judgment!"

The technique was both familiar and yet delivered with concealed swiftness.

Before Ye Wen could react, he was struck from behind, the attack piercing straight through his heart.

Intense, searing pain surged through him. However, Ye Wen was no ordinary warrior—he had been tempered through countless trials. The moment he was struck, he immediately unleashed a repulsive force, sending the attacker flying.

The weapon that had struck Ye Wen was also flung away.

But this was no cause for celebration, as the effects of the attack had already begun to erode Ye Wen's body.

"This is the negative energy of an Ancestral Demon Lord? Truly fearsome—even I cannot withstand its erosion.

But it's nothing more than Ancestral-level negative energy."

Ye Wen paid no heed to the injury.

As the Time Pearl in his left hand shimmered, Ye Wen's body was restored to its state before the injury.

What truly concerned Ye Wen now was how eerily familiar that attack had been.

Over tens of thousands of years of dominating this cosmos, Ye Wen had encountered only two god-level beings capable of executing such a judgment-like technique.

Though, strictly speaking, those two were the same person—and both had ultimately perished before him.

Ye Wen narrowed his eyes, his gaze dangerous as he turned toward the ambush attacker.
