Arabella did not look anyone in the eyes once they were back in the manor. Especially not Morgana who cast a spell upon her to conceal the pregnancy from the heightened senses of vampires and wolf people alike.
At least for that very night, things were allowed to go on the way they used to, for the sake of Katherine.
Not that the shift in their attitude wasn't noticeable as Arabella walked much closer to Cynric and Remus than she did Silas.
"Did something happen, dear?" Persephone intercepted her in front of the doors to the great hall as Katherine was on her way to walk down the aisle.
"No, mother," the young woman shook her rigid features into a mellow smile,"I simply feel a bit tired that is all, but worry not and let us focus on what is to come,"
