The Supreme Elder pondered for a moment, almost doubting whether he had misheard.
Just as he hesitated, the Turquoise Pool Immortal rushed to Gu Sheng's side, tidying his clothes and gently dusting off the ashes on him.
Their posture was almost like a couple.
"Alright, on your behalf, I'll let him go this time."
The Supreme Elder said coldly, then withdrew the pressure from Gu Sheng.
Instantly, Gu Sheng felt the pressure on his body dissipate considerably.

He exhaled a long breath and realized he had narrowly escaped disaster.
He looked at Yao Xi and the Turquoise Pool Immortal, smiling faintly, "Thank you."

Gu Sheng turned respectfully to the Supreme Elder and said.
The Supreme Elder said nothing more, simply waved his hand, and then turned and left.
Seeing the Supreme Elder leave, the guards followed suit.
