At this stage of the topic, Li Lingling was full of relief.
To be honest, before the psychological intervention began, her biggest fear was the topic not progressing smoothly.
The most terrifying situation she imagined was that Nian's mother would refuse to speak, and she herself wouldn't know how to extend the topic, causing an awkward standstill.
This would lead to both of them having to remain in silence, forcing Li Lingling to dryly go through the motions of the intervention, using phrases like "Okay, let's start with the first part" and "Then we proceed to…" to cue the process.
Now it was different; she and Nian's mother smoothly advanced the topic through Memory and Empathy.
This was thanks to Nan Zhubin, who had structured a considerable number of topic progression methods for Li Lingling before she went into the intervention.
However, that was as far as it went.
