Yun Susu and Yun Mengyao took a bath, changed into clean clothes, and by this time Jin Die had already prepared the meal.
The four of them sat around the table.
While eating, Jin Die recounted how Qin Yi rescued her, then returned to the mansion to punish those wicked servants.
Yun Susu, unsure of what else to say, frequently offered toasts in gratitude.
However, Qin Yi was not particularly appreciative. Yun Susu's eyes dimmed; it seemed Qin Yi still couldn't forgive her for using him in the past.
Yun Mengyao didn't interject either; this was Qin Yi's matter. She knew Qin Yi well; although he appeared gentle, he was a man of principle. Yun Susu seeking forgiveness wouldn't be an easy or quick task.
"Qin Yi, can you return to your normal appearance? It's really awkward to look at," Yun Mengyao teased.
Qin Yi said irritably, "Well, you'll have to wait until I finish eating."
Yun Mengyao pouted and quietly asked Jin Die, "What's stuffed in Qin Yi's chest?"
"Apples."
