Seeing hope shatter, the man bared his fangs, no longer pretending to be a rabbit. He used the most venomous language to curse the woman in front of him and the child in her arms.
But the louder he cursed, the happier the store owner smiled, because she knew he was scared, that he was feeling guilty.
