After a strenuous session with the teacher in the garden, Kevin was starving. He washed his hands and came to the dining room, eating voraciously. Feeling guilty, he said, "Mom, if I come home late next time, you can have dinner alone. You must be tired after working all day. Get some rest. Don't overwork yourself."
"My good boy, I'm not tired." Rachel smiled. "I want to discuss something with you. I need your advice."
Rachel worked as a sales clerk during the day and did textile work at night. Despite the hard work, she didn't earn much. Lately, she had been thinking of quitting her job and opening a clothing store but was unsure. It would require a significant investment, and the competition was fierce. She also worried that she wouldn't have time to take care of Kevin if she got too busy.
"Mom, that's a great idea! You have my support," Kevin said, his eyes lighting up. "I can take care of myself, I'll eat at the school cafeteria, and I can help you on weekends. Just do it."
