The sky split open as a golden radiance surged down, divine and merciless.
Ōtsutsuki Isshiki stared up, and for the first time in a thousand years, he felt it—the scent of death hanging in the air like a curse.
From above, a golden blade of pure chakra, condensed from spiritual power and divine judgment, descended toward him like the wrath of Kami.
Isshiki's eyes—jet black with concentric patterns—flared wide. The moment the blade descended, he activated Sukunahikona, shrinking the divine construct down to a microscopic scale in the blink of an eye.
But even at less than a ten-thousandth of its original mass, the weapon retained a divine pressure.
Forced to enlarge his body, Isshiki channeled vast chakra from his Ten-Tails-enhanced core to reinforce his body.
BANG!!!
The lightsaber hit.
A deafening wave exploded out, rattling through the compressed dimensions of their battlefield—supergravity twisting the terrain into black craters. Isshiki's knees buckled.
His back, once proud and erect, hunched under the force, bent by the weight of the divine.
Floating above, Uchiha Shin's eyes flickered into Rinnegan: Nine Tomoe Form, a divine gift etched from both Sage of Six Paths power and corrupted chakra from Kaguya.
"Chō Shinra Tensei (Super Almighty Push)!!!" he roared.
BOOOOOOM!!!
The heavens cracked.
The ground directly under Isshiki cratered, crushed by a repulsive force that rivaled gravitational collapse. Dozens of meters of terrain, forged from ultra-dense earth in Shin's spherical dimension, sank like a sponge under a titan's foot.
This wasn't simple planetary pressure.
The very crust of space itself wept.
Isshiki's body contorted grotesquely, his skin tearing, bones snapping under the overwhelming weight. Blood sprayed from his mouth like a geyser, and the divine light in his eyes flickered.
"AHHHHHHHH!!!" he howled.
Every cell in his body resisted, and his once-immortal frame twisted, kneeling before the might of true godhood.
Uchiha Shin's gaze narrowed. His right eye flared—this time not with force, but with searing soul-based intent.
"Kotoamatsukami: Light of the Other Gods."
But this wasn't the usual mind-bending power Danzo once stole.
This was its true origin: not a technique to rewrite memories—but to erase souls.
A piercing beam of spiritual light burst from Shin's Rinnegan, targeting Isshiki's soul directly. It bypassed chakra defenses, weaving past physical resilience and tearing through to the essence.
The light ignited his soul like oil-soaked parchment.
"NO—!!" Isshiki screamed, but the sound turned hollow.
His soul erupted into blue flames, disintegrating from the inside out.
In mere seconds, all that remained of Ōtsutsuki Isshiki was ash. Even his last-ditch hope to embed a Kāma mark into Uchiha Shin failed. He never even had the chance.
Without hesitation, Shin raised his hand and burned the corpse completely. Ashes scattered into his spherical realm as purified chakra and genetic data flowed into his body.
The Nine Tomoe in his Rinnegan twisted, forming black lines between each magatama, as if preparing for a ritual.
An aura of divinity surged from him—this wasn't just a Rinnegan anymore. It was something else.
"Now… let's test the Shikotsumyaku: Ashen Bone Massacre."
From his palm, Shin summoned a spear of bone—gray-black, sharpened to a molecular point, pulsing with cursed chakra. A byproduct of both Kaguya's DNA and his own fusion with Isshiki's power.
He flicked his hand.
The spear—Killing Ash Bone—vanished.
But not because it teleported.
It shrank to subatomic size, accelerated beyond light-speed using a localized Amenominaka spatial trick. It pierced the air, lethal and unseen.
"Codename: Viguna."
The attack's only drawback was its charge time and visual exposure.
But paired with "Viguna Mode," it became invisible, instantaneous, and absolute.
Even a scratch from such a spike meant cellular disintegration and death.
And Shin wasn't done.
"Let's mass produce it."
Hundreds of bone spikes burst from his back—bladed growths of pure death chakra, forged using Kekkei Mōra biology.
"Mahakala Dimension."
With a whisper, the bone spikes vanished, absorbed into a custom dimension based on Isshiki's Daikokuten technique.
Shin smirked.
"Stored on zero-frame cooldown. I can summon any number to any location at will. No hand seals. No movement. Just death."
He muttered, "Not even I could dodge that if I didn't already know it was coming."
Truly, Isshiki's abilities, once dismissed, were horrifying when optimized by someone with vision.
"Too bad you were a moron, Isshiki."
He waved the thought away. Dead gods were irrelevant.
Returning to Earth, Shin quickly locked onto the Ten-Tails that Isshiki had hidden in his own dimension.
The beast was inert, unused, and more importantly—unfed.
Its purpose was clear.
The Ten-Tails was a sacred tree seed, needing Ōtsutsuki flesh to mature.
Shin narrowed his eyes.
More sacred trees meant more protection.
"Momoshiki… Kinshiki… Come quickly."
He glanced up at the stars.
He knew they were on their way.
To feed the Ten-Tails, Ōtsutsuki blood was required. But Shin wouldn't sacrifice himself or Kaguya.
He'd wait for more prey.
Ōtsutsuki traveled through dimensions slowly—but measured by their lifespans, "soon" could mean years.
Shin estimated at least three Earth-years before their arrival.
In that time, he would prepare.
"I need to expand the Shin Sphere—compress space until I can relocate the entire Earth. Hide it like Isshiki tried, but better."
He looked toward a flickering dimensional gateway.
"Through the Gate… I'll test that later. It lets me traverse past and future, but inter-world travel is uncharted."
Though he could now face most enemies without fear, recklessness was never his path.
"I don't know how time flows in other dimensions," he muttered. "If I leave for one second and a thousand years pass here… what if Tsunade dies? What if all of them…"
He clenched his fists.
"I'll take the Earth with me before I risk it."
Resolved, he took flight—pure speed alone enough to break light barriers. In less than a second, he was back in the skies above Konoha.
Even without teleportation, his travel was faster than most could perceive.
To villagers below, he appeared as a streak of light.
To Shin, they all moved in slow motion—sluggish puppets caught in the pull of time.
Back in the village, Tsunade noticed him immediately.
She squinted.
"You're back… and shockingly, no new women this time. What's wrong? Dick shrink?"
"…"
Shin rolled his eyes.
Is that what people thought of him?
Perverted? Maybe.
But irresponsible? Never.
He'd just killed a pseudo-god, for Kami's sake.
"I eliminated the Kara organization," Shin said calmly. "Isshiki is dead. You can send a task force to recover all their tech."
Tsunade arched a brow and gave a sly grin.
"The redhead goddess will be pleased. Kaguya's been acting spoiled lately—wants to live in a golden palace. And she never steps outside now. Homebody queen of the void."
Shin nodded. Despite the jab, he understood.
He had inherited Kaguya's power, her hatred… and now, perhaps, her burden too.
But unlike her, he wouldn't face this war alone.
