After absorbing the information from Orochi no Shin, Sansheji instantly understood the cause and effect.
Nodding in unison, they all turned their gaze toward Orochi no Shin.
Shin, already anticipating their reaction, smirked. "As for the price... 150 ml."
"No, 1500 ml!"
"..."
Shin shot a look at Ichikishima-hime that clearly said, "Are you even human?"
What do you take me for? You're asking for ten times the price!
But seeing their serpent-like tongues flick out in anticipation, Shin knew there was no escaping the cost.
"Fine. 1500 ml... but let's see if you can handle it!"
He agreed ambiguously, knowing full well that he could endure far more.
Ichikishima-hime, momentarily stunned by his straightforwardness, almost forgot to bargain. She had expected some pushback, but Shin had simply accepted without a fight.
"Lord Shin, you are too kind! We promise to work hard!"
The mischievous glint in Ichikishima-hime's eyes disappeared, replaced by flattery. The other two Snake Princesses, licked their lips, eager to prove themselves.
Shin smirked inwardly.
They haven't even experienced the power of my Cursed Sage Mark yet.
Let's see how long their energy lasts when the real challenge begins.
After dealing with the Snake Princesses, Shin turned his focus back to his primary objective.
"The Forbidden Jutsu I've been researching should be viable now... a perfect time for the first test."
Bringing his fingers together, he performed a swift hand sign. Then, with deliberate precision, he ran two fingers across the palm of his left hand.
Tick-tock.
Bright red blood dripped from his hand.
"Bloodline Release: Dragon Creation!"
The moment the blood hit the ground, it began to swirl and pulse with an eerie chakra. Small, golden serpents slithered out of the puddles, growing larger with each passing second. Then, their bodies twisted and elongated, forming into regal, battle-ready women with draconic features.
They landed with a soft thud, standing tall.
Twenty Dragon Princesses had been born.
Their slender waists and curvaceous forms belied the raw power within. Though their beauty was almost ethereal, their chakra signatures were monstrous—each of them possessing enough strength to rival a Kage. More than that, their existence was bound to Shin himself.
They were his creations. His bloodline. His will made manifest.
The Snake Princesses instinctively tensed.
"What... are they?!"
The presence of the Dragon Princesses weighed on the air like a tangible force, an overwhelming aura of dominance and destruction.
However, their faces were cold, their expressions empty. Their glowing eyes held no emotions—only absolute obedience.
Shin finally spoke. "They are artificial beings born from an advanced variant of the Eight-Headed Technique."
He turned his gaze toward the Snake Princesses. "You three will lead them into battle. I want to see their combat capabilities firsthand."
Ichikishima-hime's eyes gleamed with ambition. If they could evolve into something like these creatures, their power would reach heights they never imagined.
Shin watched them go before closing his eyes, syncing his mind with his creations. The Dragon Princesses weren't truly alive—not yet. They were more like battle puppets with semi-formed souls created from Yin-Yang Release. Their thought process revolved around one thing: unwavering loyalty.
Still, they were incomplete. Their souls were weak, like newborn embers waiting to be fanned into a roaring blaze.
Given time, they could develop true sentience... and even the ability to reproduce.
"Creating life from one's own blood and chakra..."
A cold gleam flickered in Shin's eyes.
"Otsutsuki Kaguya must have done something similar."
He refused to make the same mistake as the Sage of Six Paths. He had built in countless safeguards. No matter how powerful the Dragon Princesses became, they would never rebel.
"I'll have to monitor them. I need to see how they evolve when exposed to battle, knowledge, and human emotions."
With that thought, Shin turned his attention to the looming presence ahead.
"Miroku, we're moving out."
The woman at his side nodded, and together they soared toward the location of Moryo.
As they traveled, they saw countless spirits rushing toward the Demon King's lair.
Shin's eyes darkened with hunger.
"A feast is just lying in wait."
He formed a quick hand sign.
"Soul Art: Binding Devour!"
Streams of glowing souls were ripped from their trajectory, sucked into Shin's grasp. He absorbed them one by one, growing stronger with each passing moment.
Moryo, deep in its domain, suddenly felt something was off.
"...?!"
"Where... are the souls? Where are the human souls?!"
Instead of pure souls, only fragmented, chaotic negative emotions remained, flooding in uncontrollably. Without the stabilizing force of true souls, the energy became volatile.
Moryo panicked.
Too much Yin chakra without proper control was a disaster waiting to happen. If left unchecked, it could destabilize its entire form.
It had no choice but to expel the excess energy, releasing waves of Yin Chakra Insects into the surroundings.
"Something's wrong... I must find Miroku!"
A guttural roar shook the cavernous domain.
"Miroku!"
The demon's voice spread out, reaching its minions like an all-encompassing force.
But before it could make another move, a serene voice echoed from above.
"Moryo... your heart is filled with hatred."
The Demon King's twisted form froze.
Moryo lifted its massive head and saw her.
Miroku, floating in the air, bathed in a soft, radiant light. She was cradled in Shin's arms, her expression filled with pity.
It only made Moryo's rage burn hotter.
"WHEN?!"
From the writhing black mass, a monstrous face emerged, its dragon-like maw contorted with fury.
It locked eyes with Shin, its expression oscillating between shock and rage.
Then it saw Miroku's gaze.
Those eyes... those compassionate, sorrowful eyes.
It made Moryo want to rip her apart.
"MIROKU!!!"
Tentacles of pure darkness erupted from its amorphous form, lashing out with terrifying speed.
A hundred meters of death and destruction descended upon them in an instant.
Shin merely smirked.
"Tch. How stupid."
He almost counterattacked on reflex but hesitated.
Then an idea struck him.
It had been too long since he'd summoned his "partner." He couldn't let it laze around all the time. It was time to put it to work.
"Summoning!"
A surge of energy erupted from Shin, activating the hidden seal he had long embedded in his ultimate summon.
Far away, nestled in a secluded valley, a massive beast's eyes snapped open.
A moment later, reality distorted.
A deafening roar shattered the silence as an enormous form materialized beneath Shin and Miroku.
BA-BOOM!
Standing on its forehead, Shin smirked down at the Demon King.
"I hope you're ready, Moryo. Because now... you're fighting the both of us."
