Hu Yaoji's eyes were nearly blinded by the glare, but his body instinctively sensed danger—he knew a car was hurtling straight towards him.

The bullets shattered the glass, and Sang Ning ducked down the moment Hu Yaoji pulled the trigger.
The bullets missed her completely, all embedding into the driver's seat. Sang Ning was forced to slam on the brakes. The vehicle halted so abruptly that its rear end skidded sideways, tilting the car sharply across the road and crushing a patch of nearby Banana leaves.
Both she and her adversaries fell into a fleeting pause to adjust. The strong inertia from the brake had caused a gash on Sang Ning's forehead.
Cradling her swollen, bleeding forehead, she slowly sat upright and glanced at the three pitch-black bullet holes in the seat. A chill ran down her spine.
