Zhi'er waved her little hand.
"Brother, don't be afraid, it's Xiao Li!"
Bai Daoyan frowned in confusion, "Xiao Li...?"
Zhi'er calmly got off the ground and beckoned, "Xiao Li, come!"
Bai Daoyan saw the slender snake tail slowly move.
Then, from the dense trees, a thick black snake slithered down!
Its body was almost as thick as three of Zhi'er's little arms combined.
Bai Daoyan gasped.
The black snake hissed and flicked its tongue; after sliding down the tree trunk, it tapped the trunk with its tail.
Immediately, two fruits fell from the tree, landing in front of Zhi'er.
The little one blinked her eyes, "Wow, is this for me?"
The black snake flicked its tongue.
Zhi'er promptly reached out her small hand, standing on tiptoes to touch the black snake's head.
Bai Daoyan watched, heart pounding, fearing that the snake would suddenly turn wild and swallow his sister's small hand whole.
However, the black snake didn't harm Zhi'er; it obediently lowered its head instead.
