"Packing up and then couldn't come out?"
"And then we just chatted a bit."
"Still pretending?" Su Xinger snorted, "I can already smell the scent of bruise ointment on you."
Fu Zhen's face turned crimson. She quietly glanced at the table by the beaded curtain and lowered her voice: "You know, if you keep shouting here, are you trying to let everyone know I indulged in illicit pleasures in broad daylight?"
Su Xinger giggled and leaned her head over: "I just want to know, did you use all those tricks you read in those books back then?"
Fu Zhen gave her a light slap on the arm.
Took a small sip of tea, her mouth involuntarily curled up again, and she spoke slowly: "Why rush? We'll eventually try each and every one."
Su Xinger silently gave her a thumbs up, then sat up properly.
"What are you two talking about?" Mrs. Pei had returned.
The two of them restored their dignified expressions and started chatting about family matters with Mrs. Pei.
