The previous dynasty revered Buddhism, and over a few centuries, built numerous temples in the capital city. Longquan Temple was considered historical, reportedly a branch of a famous temple on Mount Song.
Thus, this temple covers quite a large area, with four consecutive main halls, and a small hill at the end.
Yang Yi pushed open the temple gate and, after showing the Jade Token, smoothly reached the hill behind.
The hill was planted with fruit trees for all seasons. There were also two small Zen temples, where visitors usually stayed, so the monks were not surprised by their purpose.
The two of them followed the path up the hill, guided by the trees, arriving at an inconspicuous piece of land halfway up.
