Gong Shaoyu didn't answer, his brows furrowed tightly, gripping the chopsticks with a bit more force, as if trying hard to endure something.
She quickly understood what was happening, grabbed a napkin, extended her arm to hand it to him, and said with a cheeky smile, "Is it too spicy?"
He reached out to take it, still silent, putting the chopsticks down on the table.
"Brother Gong, have some water."
She poured another glass of water and handed it to him.
Just moments ago she was wondering why only she had eaten it, and less than two minutes later, Gong Shaoyu tasted the wasabi. Was it heaven hearing her thoughts?
Standing next to her, with curled eyebrows, trying not to laugh but failing miserably.
Gong Shaoyu turned his head, gave her a glance, and couldn't hold back anymore, leaning back in his chair, covering his mouth, tightly closing his eyes.
