Hearing the child say that Christopher Turner wanted the two sisters to go down, Alice Turner and Lily Turner exchanged a glance, both showing varying degrees of worry on their faces.
"You go down first, just say we'll be down in a moment." Alice Turner said directly to the child who came to deliver the message, then turned to look again at Lily Turner beside her, "What's Dad calling us down for?"
She had just sneaked upstairs, how did her dad know she had come up to find her sister? Did he see her just now?
If he only called her down, it must be to greet the guests, but calling both sisters down together, she couldn't help but suspect something was fishy.
Lily Turner shared the same suspicion and worry as Alice Turner, suspecting that Christopher Turner calling the two sisters down had something to do with the Thompson Family couple.
This doesn't add up!
What does the Thompson Family couple have to do with her sister? She currently doesn't have anything to do with them either.
