Lily Turner didn't notice at all when Easton Holmes stopped the car, nor did she expect him to suddenly reach over and pull her to him. She instinctively raised her hand to wipe away her tears, but before she could touch her face, she was pulled into his side.
"If you want to cry, just cry out loud. You don't need to hold back or suppress it in front of me." As he spoke, he pulled her, who was sobbing uncontrollably, into his embrace.
Maybe it's because of her personality, but after Easton Holmes finished saying those words, Lily Turner didn't burst into tears, nor did she leave his embrace. She opened her arms and hugged him back.
Her face pressed tightly against his chest, and her arms clutched his clothes forcefully as her tears continued to flow silently.
Easton Holmes looked down at the woman nestled in his arms, instinctively tightening his embrace around her.
