Bang bang bang!
Lily Turner was groggily awakened by a series of knocks on the door. Instinctively, she turned her head to look at the bedroom door, "Who is it?"
Having just woken up, her voice sounded a bit hoarse.
"Young Madam! It's me!"
Amelia Linton's voice drifted in from outside the door, and Lily's brows knitted tightly, "What's wrong?"
Due to the incident from last night to this morning, she had developed a strong suspicion towards this woman.
Although she knew this woman was there to monitor her, she hadn't felt so wary of her before, but the woman's actions made her have to be on guard.
"I've brought the medicine back."
Amelia had returned from the pharmacy without delay and sought out Lily immediately upon entering. Not seeing Lily downstairs, she ran directly upstairs.
Hearing this, Lily sobered up instantly and rolled her eyes at the stark white ceiling as she sat up in bed.
"Wait a moment!"
