Bang!
After Dr. Wang left, Easton Holmes closed the door, turned around, and walked to the bedside, looking down at her sitting there, silent for a long time.
"Why are you taking those pills?"
Just as Lily Turner couldn't bear Easton's gaze any longer, he suddenly spoke.
"Because I don't want to get pregnant, so I took them."
Lily knew Easton was very angry at this moment, but she didn't reveal Amelia Linton's involvement because that would make him even angrier. She didn't want things to get out of hand.
Having heard the conversation between Dr. Wang and Lily, Easton immediately concluded that she had taken contraceptive pills. As for why she took them, he could mostly guess the reasons.
Even though he had anticipated this outcome, hearing her admit it made him furious because he could not accept it from the bottom of his heart.
"Are you still thinking about that Thompson guy?" The only reason he could think of was that she didn't want his child.
