The first thing I remember is darkness
then.... nothing. no memory of who I
was or what my life was like all that
was there was nothingness then there
was an explosion of light as soon
as my eyes adjusted, I saw trees then
I saw where I was, I was in a park,
laying on a bench 'get up!' suddenly
I heard a voice. looking around
but no one was there 'run know!'
there it is again "who's there!" no
response I sat up and looked
around but didn't see anyone. I
looked at myself, pail skin, black
torn jeans, an assortment of leather
and metal bracelets, a purple shirt
that looked old and faded, I walked
to the fountain of water at the center
of the park and looked at my face,
dark purple hair almost black, violet
eyes, and I looked maby 13 years old
and I was a girl, don't know why that
surprised me the most 'run' the voice
said again "run? From what?" As soon
as I said that I heard people talking
"find her, she's around here
somewhere" then I saw police officers,
but somthing was wrong but I couldn't
find out what, 'RUN NOW' the voice
yelled. So I did I ran into an ally and
around corners the voice telling me
where to go, 'left, right climb the
fence, duck into that ally, climb the
fire escape' soon enough we where
on the roof and out of sight I sat
against the wall out of breath
"I think we lost them" I said still out
of breath 'for now' the voice said
I grumble in frustration "why are we
even runing? What do they want?"
'Me' the voice answered. "And
Who even are you?" I asked
Both frustrated and curious
'Raven' it said 'and who are you?'
The question hit harder then I
thought "Who am I?" I layed my head
down and fell asleep, only to dream of
running, then I open my eyes and stand
up. Somthing was wrong, the sky was
red, the air was off. And the city before
me was in ruin and flame a giant red
figure stood over the flaming city. A
Thorn like crown or maby they where
horns I couldn't tell. His eyes glowing
full of hatred. Then I woke up for real
this time but I wasnt on the roof but
In an ally, holding a hotdog?
'Not you again' the voice said
"what's going on" I asked standing up.
Then my stomach growled and I scarf
down the hotdog almost choking. 'Hey
idiot that was supposed to last us a few days!!!' The voice or rather Raven
screamed. Giving me a headache
"but we were hungery" I protest.
'Ya and now we'll starve you
gluttonous Crow!' She fires back
making our headache worse.
"What's going on over there!"
A police officer yells so I ran like
before through allies and up
fire escapes 'why are we running?'
Raven asked as I lay on the roof out of breath. "Because they're after us, you,
me? This is making my head hurt worse."
'Those guys aren't after us.They're just normal cops'
