"If I see a prettier one, I'll pick it for you." Yan Sijue said nonchalantly.
Mu Yiliang replied with an "Hmm," but still looked back longingly. She didn't understand why she cared so much about that flower.
She couldn't help but recall the proud smile the man had on his face while holding the flower towards her earlier.
Yan Sijue noticed her reluctant expression and chuckled silently.
He suddenly realized that even though her rationality might be overtaken by other thoughts, she was still herself, without turning into someone else.
Plotting to kill him... that might be too difficult for her after all.
Soon, they reached a wide open space.

"No need." He refused without hesitation, opened his backpack, and handed her a bottle of water. "We have one last climb before reaching the summit."
