Gu Qingqian woke up from his coma.
He felt a dull pain in his chest and dizziness in his head, unsure if his ribs were broken.
"Can you still talk?" A clear, cold voice sounded lightly,
Gu Qingqian was taken aback, struggled to open his eyes, and saw Yan Sijue standing in front of him.
He suddenly became agitated: "What did you do to Yiliang?"
"Looks like you can still talk." Yan Sijue scoffed, "Tell me, who is secretly helping you?"
Gu Qingqian jolted, rasping, "No one is helping me."
Yan Sijue pulled out a cigarette, lowered his head to light it, his thick lashes casting a shadow beneath his eyes.
He took a drag, exhaled a smoke ring, and then laughed: "This nonsense might fool that silly woman, but don't try to fool me. The island is heavily guarded; without someone's help, there's no way you could get in on your own."
Gu Qingqian struggled to prop up his upper body, sneering coldly: "Yan Sijue, you're underestimating people!"
