The mage activated the magic array on the ship, shrinking it down to a size that was portable. They found a place to disembark that was not conspicuous.
As soon as they stepped onto the land, an uncomfortable feeling enveloped them. The thought that a terrifying battle was about to take place here made Lynch feel a bit despondent. No one, not even any god, could stir up even a ripple in the bloody battle, and no one could guarantee that they would emerge unscathed. The almost certain death oppressed Lynch's confidence, causing him to tremble all over. The mages had been exchanging magical insights on the ship and didn't have much time to think about the upcoming battle; but now, countless thoughts bombarded him like a torrential waterfall crashing onto his shoulders, threatening to crush him completely.
"What's wrong, my dear?" The Desire Demon swayed over to Lynch, gently patting his back. "Hold on, don't let them take your mind."
