Lynch grabbed Morgan and forcefully pulled him back to his side, ending his Invisibility Spell in the process. The red-bearded dwarf looked at the mage, wiped off the snake-man's blood from his face with his hand, and asked in confusion, "Why stop, in front of these triangle-headed cowards?"
The mage pulled a ring from his pocket, its sparkling ruby gemstone gleaming on a gold band. He pried open the dwarf's clenched hand and placed the ring in his palm. Lynch sighed, "This was originally a gift for Zilvra, but now I'll have to use it early. I lend it to you, take good care of it."
