"Shi Qing's call..." Tong Airui was just about to explain when his phone rang again.
Tong Airui glanced at it and saw Ni Lu's number. His thumb hovered between answering and rejecting the call.
Yi Luowa reached out and tapped the answer button, then immediately distanced herself, retreating far away from him.
Tong Airui shot her a sidelong glance, helplessly bringing the phone to his ear. "Auntie, what's the matter?"
"Airui, have you gotten home yet?" Shi Qing's voice came through on the other end.
Tong Airui's brows furrowed instantly. "I'm busy right now. If there's nothing urgent, I'm hanging up."
Shi Qing sobbed and said, "Airui, I know you still hate me, but I've already been punished. Can't you forgive me?"
"I never hated you, so there's no question of forgiveness. If that's all you want to say, I'll hang up now."
