The year-end party, as always, was held at Black Pool. The Gu Family generously booked the entire venue to host all the distinguished guests tonight.
Gu Ningyi and Dong Xin Yan arrived at Black Pool in an extended Lincoln car. The driver opened the door, and Gu Ningyi got out first, then slightly bent over, placing his palm over Dong Xin Yan's head, gently helping her out.
Dong Xin Yan smiled in gratitude.
She stood at the entrance of Black Pool, slightly raised her eyes, and looked at the dazzling Black Pool sign, her heartbeat gradually accelerating. Soon, she would get to see her; she wondered if she still looked like she did in her memory.
