An Ying's voice was soft and weak.
The nurse listened to the indistinct voice and uncertainly asked, "Is your name An Ying?"
An Ying raised her head, looked at the nurse in white, and nodded in agreement, "Yes."
Once the nurse confirmed the name, she immediately put the phone to her ear and slowly said, "Excuse me, do you know An..."
"I know her." The voice on the other end was urgent, even cautious, as if afraid the call would be hung up, "Do you... do you know Ying'er? Has... something happened to her?"
The man almost spoke while holding his breath.
