"Knock, knock..."
Just as An Yin found herself caught in a dilemma, a knock on the door interrupted her. She playfully stuck out her tongue in a cute gesture, then quickly stood up, "It might be the delivery. I'll get the door."
An Ying watched her daughter dash off with deep-set eyes and advised, "Slow down, don't trip and fall."
"Got it."
In the blink of an eye, An Yin had already swung the door open and retrieved the delivery. She carried the heavy package and placed it on the computer desk by the window.
"Smells so good!" Even before unwrapping the bag, a rich and spicy aroma filled the air. An Yin excitedly opened the bag and arranged the food neatly on the table.
Seeing her daughter's hungry expression, An Ying warned, "Try to eat less strong-flavored food in the future." An Ying had been weak constitutionally since childhood, always getting stomach upsets from unclean food, so she had always been strict about diet, forbidding An Yin from eating casually.
