The dim gray light spilled into the suite through the window, with the sound of pattering rain outside that showed no sign of stopping. The sky was overcast with dark clouds, and this rain, it seemed, would not stop anytime soon.
"Gurgle..."
"Gurgle..."
Weak sounds constantly emanated from An Yin's stomach.
Curling up in the corner, she moved her stiff little body, her empty eyes unable to resist glancing towards the door.
"Gurgle..."
The hunger swept over her brain. She weakly propped herself up, only to find her legs numb. She collapsed back to the ground, weakly pounding her legs with her hands, trying to make the numbness go away.
At this moment, she had a loosely draped towel over her body. Fortunately, the heater in the room was on, so even though she wore very little, she wasn't cold.
She sat on the ground for quite a while until her feet didn't hurt as much. Then, she slowly shuffled towards the bathroom with her shivering body.
