"Alright, drink up." An Ying gently reassured her.
An Yin picked up the spoon and sipped slowly.
In winter, most days are gloomy, with a dark and somber sky.
Fortunately, their home was on the sixth floor, and there weren't any tall buildings around to block the light. The room was bright even in the day and didn't need any lights on.
An Ying hung her head, her gaze filled with the figure of her daughter.
An Yin's black hair was draped over her shoulders, and as she lay on the bed, the hair on her forehead fell against her cheek.
Seeing this, An Ying reached out and gently tucked her hair behind her ear.
When An Yin felt a hand touch her face, she was startled, but upon realizing it was her mother, she picked up the ginger sugar water and drank it in one gulp, "Finished drinking."
"Lie down and rest for a while." After saying that, An Ying tucked her in.
"Mm."
