Chapter 11 - The Golden Field

My soul felt...new, unfamiliar, yet undeniably mine. When I open my eyes, I am so captivated by this change that I forget everything around me, my attention solely fixed on the wonder of my soul. I stared at my hands held before my face, emanating the same soft pinkish glow that had defined my orb. I flexed my fingers, marveling at the way the glow flickered like embers. The light pulsed gently, like a heartbeat, turning them over and over, marveling at the delicate structure and the way the light played across their surface. Something I had waited an eternity for my soul to finally possess his form. I am no longer orb.

Then she looked up—and her breath caught.

The first time I looked at her, she was huge compared to me.

Towering above me was a being so vast she seemed to eclipse the sky. I could only see her upper body part, It was like she grew from the ground beneath her. Her body was connected to the space around us. Her back melted into the white expanse behind her, as if she had grown from it. I did not understand back then. But now I understand she was expanse space. Her soul glowed with a pearlescent white light, her features regal and serene, her eyes like twin moons watching without blinking. She was draped in flowing robes that shifted like liquid starlight.

Perched on the swell of her breast, he lounged as if it were a throne.

A shimmer of golden light permeated the vastness, emanating from him. His soul glowed with golden light, a light that seemed to crackle with raw energy. His light was sharper, almost cruel in its brilliance. He was small in comparison, but where her presence was vast and steady, his was a blade pressed against my soul without ever touching me. His presence was overwhelming.

When my eyes met his.

And the moment I saw him, I fell in love

My body folded.

My newly formed knees hit the ground. My spine bent. My forehead pressed against the ground. And I felt utterly, completely, submissive. I bowed not by choice, but because my bones demanded it. I tried to lift my head, to twitch a finger, to blink, but my muscles locked in place. It was as if my very being was acknowledging a power so far beyond my own that resistance was not only futile but inconceivable.

Time stretched, meaningless long it felt like I had been bowing for eons, for the span of stars burning to dust.

"Congratulations, little one, and welcome to the Vault."

The voice came from the giantess, but it did not come from her mouth. It came from the walls. The light. The air itself.

You are fortunate beyond measure, her voice deepens. Her voice echoed in layers, as if a hundred mouths spoke at once.

You stand in the presence of NABE, Luminous Sovereign of Seven Galaxies, the Bringer of Balance, owner of golden seeds, the Weaver of Destinies, the Lord of the golden failed, Keeper of the Infinite Archives, He Whose Gaze Bends Time, and the Dawn That Never End.

Then, slowly, descended by gliding from his throne.

The ground trembled, no, she trembled beneath him as he stepped down. His bare feet touched the floor, and where they landed, the light bent, warping toward him as if afraid to disobey.

He stopped just in front of me. I could see his golden feet

I found myself standing in an endless sea of a golden field of shimmering wheat, sharp as a blade that stretched beyond the horizon, swaying gently as if breathing. The field glowed, casting an ethereal golden light outshining the abyss above me. The sky was darker than the deepest void, devoid of the faintest glimmer of light

So this is what she meant by the Lord of the Golden Field.

A prickling sensation crawled up my spine. I was not alone.

I turned slowly to discover a figure standing where moments before there had been nothing.

He towered over me, His golden hair shimmered like molten sunlight, his eyes glowed with the same golden light, wearing golden plate armor with a mask covering most of his face.

Hesitantly, I spoke. My voice is barely above a whisper

"Are you the Lord of the Golden Field, Nabe?"

"Yes and no. "The words resonated from everywhere at once, as though the field itself spoke.

Confusion clouded my thoughts. "How?"

"I am him, part of him, not all. Just a tiny fragment."

The image of the vault flashed in my mind.

So, where is the rest of him in the vault?

Again, that cryptic reply: Yes and no

We do not have time for this. Come closer

I have not moved yet. I blinked, and the distance vanished. I found myself standing before him, close enough to feel the heat radiating from his armor."Wait," I gasped, feeling the ground beneath me ripple like water. A shudder ran through me as I realized the ground had moved. No, not just the ground. The entire field. The land itself obeyed his will.

Before I could voice my horror, the golden mask on his face began to dissolve, its edges fraying like embers in the wind,

The golden field, no longer still, began to stir around my legs. The wheat, no, not wheat, sharp blade brushed against my legs slowly, not one or two, but an endless, like golden threads of longing rising from the ground itself. caressing my skin like a lover's fingers.each stalk glistening as if dipped in molten sunlight.

"You finally came," his golden eyes burned into mine.

I opened my mouth to speak, but the ground beneath me moved.

Golden tendrils, warm and sinuous, coiled around my ankles, slithering up my calves with a lover's patience. I gasped as they tightened, not painfully, but possessively, their touch sending shivers up my spine. The golden tendrils of the field continued their exploration, gently pulling me closer to the dark expanse above.

"Do not resist. The field knows what you crave, Nabe murmured

Before I could protest, his hand cupped my chin, tilting my face up. Then his lips met mine, his kiss stole my breath, and a wave of unexpected, intense pleasure coursed through me, my body instinctively arching towards him.

The golden tendrils didn't stop. They wound higher, caressing my thighs, teasing the sensitive skin. One caressed the curve of my breast, another traced the line of my spine, One curled around my waist .each touch sending shivers of delight through me, I moaned into Nabe's mouth, my fingers digging into his chest, and his armor melted at my touch, the golden plate dissolving into liquid heat beneath my palms.

Then, with a slow, deliberate motion, the golden field beneath me shifted, tilting until I was lying back upon its yielding surface. The golden tendrils, no longer just caressing, now moved with a more intimate purpose. Their warmth seeping into my skin as more golden tendrils emerged, sliding over my hips, my stomach, my throat. One, thick and slick, pressed against my entrance, teasing before pushing inside with a slow, relentless thrust.

I cried out, my back arching as pleasure, too much, too good, flooded my veins. The golden tendril pulsed, filling me with liquid fire, golden seed spilling into me in waves. My body clenched around it, needing more.

Nabe watched with his golden eyes while another golden tendril traced my lips, slipping past them to stroke my tongue. I sucked on it instinctively, the taste of golden seed bursting on my tongue.

As the golden field consumed me, one slipped between my legs, a soft, insistent pressure building. A sensation unlike any I had ever known bloomed within me as the golden essence of the field seemed to flow into me. Is this the golden seeds she talked about? Oh yes, I want more.

A desperate need rose within me. The overwhelming pleasure, the sheer physical sensation, compelled a word to escape my lips, born of pure desire.

"System… connect."
