The Emperor snorted coldly, then stood up, hands in his sleeves, dragging his feet as he walked toward the main hall of Chengguang Hall.
"Aren't we supposed to go to the spring hunt today?" the Emperor suddenly asked.
Sun Kui, following behind the Emperor, heard his question and didn't quite understand his meaning, but still obediently replied, "Today we are indeed going to the spring hunt."
The Emperor spread his hands, looking incredulous, "Since today is the spring hunt, why do we still have to attend the morning court? Why not just go to the hunting ground directly?"
Sun Kui's mouth twitched slightly as he said, "Your Majesty, it was you who wanted to attend the morning court."
"How can that be? I hate the morning court the most."
Sun Kui, flattering—or was it not, flattering the dragon, said, "Because Your Majesty is a diligent emperor who never neglects the morning court."
The Emperor kicked Sun Kui's butt, "Stop trying to bamboozle me."
