Although Isabella Gray felt very sorry that Chloe Grant had exhausted herself with work and didn't pay attention to resting,
if Chloe Grant truly achieved outstanding results at work, Isabella would still feel happy and proud of her.
Though technically Isabella is Chloe Grant's grandmother, their relationship is more like that of mother and daughter.
"Grandma, I'm so hungry," Chloe whined.
Isabella led her inside, "I prepared something a while ago. Today, apart from your grandpa and me, there's no one else at home. I don't care, you have to stay and keep us old folks company."
"The term 'old folks'... isn't very nice, is it?"
Chloe sneaked a glance at Mr. Morgan, who was coming down the stairs.
He was obviously dissatisfied with Isabella's choice of words, but... despite his serious expression, he didn't seem intent on scolding or criticizing Isabella.
Instead, even though Chloe tried to subtly suggest it, she got a glare from Mr. Morgan.
