In the afternoon, Richard Shaw was busy studying the upcoming military exercise. When he came out, he saw that the garden had completely transformed. The sun had already set, and as the sky turned dark, the entire garden sparkled with stars, filled with exotic flowers and fragrant scents. A bar had been set up in the middle, turning it into an outdoor celebration.
The man stood by the window, his long, rugged fingers pressed against the window frame. His handsome face showed a hint of surprise; he never expected that an eighteen-year-old girl could handle things so skillfully.
Pearl Landon, slightly embarrassed having been criticized by Richard Shaw, forced a stiff smile and approached Crystal Landon, saying, "Crystal, you're so capable, getting everything done in such a short time."
Crystal Landon smiled lightly and said, "Because the Shaw Family helped me. I certainly couldn't have done it alone."
