Arriving at the wine estate, Crystal Landon jumped out of the car and saw a crowd of luxurious cars gathered at the entrance of the wine estate. Some noble ladies were smiling and chatting while observing the aristocratic offspring arriving one after another.
"I heard that Richard will be coming this time. I wonder if it's true?"
"Major General Shaw hasn't attended a banquet in the Imperial City for several years."
"Pearl Landon and Major General Shaw are classmates, so it's likely she can invite him."
"That would mean Pearl has quite the influence," said a socialite enviously.
"Has Richard already been promoted to Major General?"
"Absolutely. It's said he was promoted a while ago, the order has been sent to the military district, but the news hasn't reached the Imperial City yet. It's feared he will be stationed here from now on."
