Delphine entered from the courtyard and noticed the atmosphere between the Leclair siblings was somewhat strange.

Bessie Leclair saw Delphine come in, took an invitation out of her bag, tossed it to Delphine, and said coldly, "Three days from now, it's my parents' wedding anniversary. It's hard to say who was right or wrong back then, but now that you're my sister-in-law, you ought to have an invitation."
After throwing the invitation, Bessie didn't bother with dinner and left hastily after saying a word to the old master.
Holding the invitation, Delphine felt her heart race a little.
