Delphine's eyes grew misty, and she let out a soft sigh from deep within her heart, then said icily, "Do as you please."
"I agree." Melody's face twisted slightly. As long as she could have Ignatius Leclair, she would do whatever it took, regardless of the cost.
Delphine nodded indifferently, gave her a few instructions, and then called Ignatius Leclair.
"Delphine?" The man's voice was as low and raspy as ever, tinged with a rough sensuality. "Where are you?"
Delphine was silent for a few seconds before asking, "When did you know Beatrice Carter wasn't my mother?"
Ignatius' breathing paused for a moment before he rasped, "I'll explain everything, but first tell me—where are you?"
