"Maximilian said you're going to the film set, and you'll be gone for two months?" Ignatius Leclair looked at her, his expression unreadable. Two months away—it might be for the best.
"Yes, we'll be filming at the Riverscape in Springtime set. There aren't any similar buildings in Nanyang," Delphine said calmly.
Ignatius paused for a moment before finally saying, "Take a few more people with you. Being away from home is never as safe."
"The production budget is limited, and no one really brings that many assistants. It draws too much attention."
Hearing this, Ignatius gave her a deep look. He wanted to reach out and touch her head, but his hand hesitated for a moment before he restrained himself and withdrew it.
It was time to leave. The whole Wade Family ordeal had caused too much noise. Though he had always planned to take action against the Wade Family, thinking back on it now, one reason for acting so early was Delphine Carter.
