But at this moment, perhaps the threat of death had awakened her potential, as if eyes had grown on her back.
Adeline could clearly sense the intense vibrations coming from behind, rapidly approaching at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Dense and urgent footsteps echoed amid the angry roars of the beast, as if each step was landing on her heart, pounding like a drum.
