Shi Nuan paused again, turning to the delivery guy: "What did you just say?"
The delivery guy repeated: "I said the person who delivered flowers today and the person who delivered flowers yesterday aren't the same!"
Shi Nuan blinked, unsure of what to say.
The delivery guy walked over and handed her the flowers: "I think you should still accept them, miss. After all, it's someone else's gesture. If you don't like them, you can throw them away after signing for them, and that's none of our business. But if we throw them away ourselves, that's not exactly right and doesn't follow our industry rules..."
Shi Nuan bit her lip and ultimately signed for the roses.
On her way up the stairs, Shi Nuan was still puzzled because she had checked several times and didn't find any card or anything within the flowers.
She had no idea who sent them.
Unexpectedly, just as she stepped out of the elevator, her phone rang in her pocket.
